Introduction: I love what I do and my clients tell me it shows. I don't do massage because it's a job. I do massage because I love seeing my clients and helping them. I love helping others feel better mentally and physically. Seeing how massage can change life styles and clients are able to do things they love doing and have missed out on because of pain.

FAQs

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I am an Ashiatsu Trainer, but I do a lot of Continuing Education to improve on techniques. If I have a client and the techniques that I am trained in don't seem to be helping I will find a class that I think may benefit that client. Education in this field is endless. I love learning new modalities and I love training!

  • Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

Helping my husband who recently had a severe stroke, and bleeding on the brain at and early age of 37, The stroke was on his right side causing his left side to be paralyzed. He was in ICU for 5 weeks, for the most part in an induced coma. Through out this time I was with him every day, stretching his arms, hands, legs and feet. He never had one bed sore. I believe due to the amazing staff moving him around and continued blood circulation with the light massage and stretching. When he woke up he had lock jaw and he couldn't open his mouth very far. The doctors said there was nothing they could do, so I did TMJ work on him twice and he was able to open his mouth and talk. When being moved to rehab for therapy, after laying in bed for 5 weeks straight his whole body was hurting, headaches everyday, muscle spasms,I was able to give him massages several times a day. To help relieve some of the pain. Over 3 long months, he is starting to walk, he is gaining strength every day, and is a very determined man with a positive attitude toward rehabilitation. But I have to say I am most particularly proud of all of our family, friends and my valued clients who are family, who have supported us in many ways and sent many prayers! We are a blessed family to have so many Amazing people in our lives!
