FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We charge by the job, not by the hour, so our customers won't have to worry about hourly rates and watch the clock tick away. One of the many reasons why hourly rates are becoming a thing of the past is because not all homes have the same wiring scheme or architecture. Another reason is not all technicians have the same skill sets and that means a less skilled technician can really rack up an hourly bill. If a job takes longer than anticipated, an upfront flat rate price removes the risk of you to pay more. That's why we made the investment to track our average times per task and offer better service. It also gives you peace of mind knowing what the exact cost will be.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Each technician receives approximately two hundred hours of training each year. We don't just train on technical aptitude either. We take great care in training our technicians to respect our customer's homes as well.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We have won local and national awards. Some of the awards we have won are exactly because of our training. We won an award from the Home Services Hall of Fame for Training Company of the Year. We also have training offered to our technicians outside of our area where they travel to learn industry best practices. Another important part of our training involves continuing education and code knowledge.
