I accepted his quote (who I was what I am used to paying other companies for same service) and Daniel arrived the same day at the time he said he would arrive. He was observant as to seams that needed caulking and there was no additional charge for caulking the seams that leaked. We have lots of trees nears our house so I asked him to come back in about a month and his quote for second trip was discounted!
It was so nice to have Susie clean my house. Getting it ready to possibly sell, along with a graduation party and relatives coming from out of town had left me so overloaded. I was concerned about having someone else clean before company because I know how I like things. Susie did a wonderful job in every room of my house. She managed to get the dog hair off the couches better than I've been able to do lately, she cleaned a bathroom for two boys without complaint (and she probably should have been complaining - sorry and thank you Susie!) She even showed me how to get those rust stains from old cookie pans out of my dishwasher! 😄 I would highly recommend Susie. I wish I could have her come all the time.

Tomorrow, Alissa will have cooked 42 fantastic meals for me and she has cleaned my now-spotless house one time since I hired her. She's earned every one of her 5-stars! Details: I love to eat healthy but I'm a bit neurotic when it comes to cooking, kitchen clean-up and house cleaning. If you've ever seen Saturday Night Live's "Anal-Retentive Chef" then you'll know what I mean. I found myself constantly grocery shopping, cooking and cleaning, leaving little time to do the things I enjoy. Something HAD to change. Setting my misgivings aside, I made up my mind to hire a person to cook weekly meals and another to clean my house every two weeks. So one day I posted an online ad that I was interested in hiring someone to cook and clean. The costs, not knowing how quickly I could get services started and my very high expectations still left me somewhat apprehensive. But then came Alissa Boukal to the rescue! After posting the ad, it was less than an hour when I received my first response--a response from Alissa telling me that she not only cleans, but also does meal preparation. This seemed like a GREAT solution for me (one I hadn't thought of), so I waited a short while for other responses, but none came. Oh, I did receive other responses, but not one person other than Alissa offered to do house cleaning AND cooking. We spoke on the phone about my expectations and Alissa followed up by coming to my house so I could show her how I wanted my house cleaned and to discuss meal planning. She immediately set me at ease by indicating that I'd be easy to cook for and that my house would be as clean as a whistle when she got done with it--so I hired her on the spot and made arrangements for my first week's meals and established a twice-monthly cleaning regimen. She made it very clear that she believes very strongly in two way communication--that it was incumbent upon me to enable her to do her job right by clearly defining what it is I expect from her--no detail too small. I took that to heart and I've held up my part of the bargain. I'm sure that's why I am so very satisfied and comfortable with our arrangement! To ensure success, she provided me with easy-to-fill-out forms where I circled the foods--meats, veggies, carbs, desserts, condiments, etc., that I enjoyed eating and plenty of room to enter comments such as food allergies, or anything specific you want her to know. Now that we're in a routine, I give Alissa the recipes I like or I pick some of her suggested meals to eat for the week (two meals per day) and Alissa shows up at my door every week with easy to reheat, refrigerate or freeze cooked food made just for me. On house cleaning day she arrives with vacuum cleaner in hand (unless you want her to use your vacuum) and she's all business, getting right to work on the dusting, vacuuming, bathrooms, etc.--she truly does it all! I am still very apprehensive about hiring Alissa; now not because of her outstanding work ethic/performance, but because she's made herself so indispensable to me that I don't know how I'd get along without her! Thank you Alissa!
Cindy is my treasure. She has worked for me for more than three years. She watches my kids, cleans my house and organizes my life. I would be lost without her. She has sorted and organized the storage room in my basement; gotten all the closets in my house cleaned and organized; and helped me clear out old clothes, toys, and junk from my house. If there's ever anything not the way I want it cleaned or organized he is real good about accepting feedback and does whatever he can to remedy and improve the situation. I have also just recently referred him to my daughter and she is super pleased! She said, what a nice guy and the place looks fabulous!
