Introduction: LOCATED IN OMAHA, NE. If you are looking for local in person lessons outside of the Omaha area, I would encourage you to consider taking my online lessons! I will provide you with a unique and unequaled professional level learning experience in the privacy, comfort and convenience of your own home! I have several online National students (including kids that started with no prior experience!). I have over 30 years of teaching experience and graduated from Musician’s Institute in 1991. I studied under guitar greats Nick Nolan, Steve Trovato, Norman Brown, and Jennifer Batten (Guitarist for Michael Jackson and Jeff Beck!) to name a few! I teach most styles from beginner to advanced and specialize in Blues, Blues Rock, Rock, Fusion and Country. I also teach harmony and theory, sight reading and ear training. I also offer gift certificates for lessons!

I would never play guitar by learning myself. Erik makes lessons challenging but still enjoyable. I now believe playing guitar will be possible, even for a 68 year old man.

I couldn’t ask for a better guitar instructor. Erik is a very patient, professional, and experienced instructor. As a beginner, I have benefited from his patient feedback during lessons. He is also accommodating whenever I have been unable to attend in person classes by offering quality instruction online (typically over Skype). I highly recommend him for your guitar lessons.

To date I am very happy I chose Erik as my guitar instructor. I've been playing for a while and wanted to find someone with a strong musical pedigree and found that in Erik Davis. Recently I had 4 music theory questions that I texted to him outside our scheduled lesson time and he responded in 5 minutes! Looking forward to our future lessons!

This was a shot in the dark for me. I just knew I wanted to learn guitar finally, so I scrolled and chose a guitar instructor. Fast forward, I couldn't be happier working with Erik. His lessons are practical and within a couple of lessons, I was learning actual songs, not just chords. The best part is that my lessons are online. Enjoying the process of learning and practicing guitar from my living room. Excited to see where my lessons take me.

If you are looking for great guitar lessons for all ages on line and an excellent teacher , Erick is the one . He is very knowledgeable , patient and dedicated . He works with you like no other teacher . He sets goals to achieve in every class and mixes the lessons with songs that you love to learn . Great value and outstanding lessons .
