I was not sure what to expect from a wedding photographer... but Karin and Howard did a wonderful job. Even with my father-in-law getting there late on one of the hottest days of the season, the were so professional and took some wonderful photos. We have so many memories to last us a lifetime but thanks to their photos it's something we can look back on. And the box and drive that they gave us was the most adorable thing we had ever seen. Big shout out to them for doing such a great job.

I have learned a lot about photography and expectations in the last couple of years. I wish it was more obvious in the industry that it's normal to get a stylist if you're going for a certain look. I also have learned my lesson and I need to get a photographer who specializes in my style. I went for a cheap last minute option and these photographers did the best they could with the little bit I gave them. It would have been difficult for anyone to work with under the circumstances. H & K were very kind and reached out to make me happy with the services since I expressed through the review that I was unhappy. I wish I took them up on it all that time ago. A friend very graciously edited the photos and I am happy with them. H & K were a delight to photograph with. They were cracking jokes and paid attention to weather and gave an alternative venue since it looked like rain would be an issue. I wish I had the courage to do the hard thing years ago and talk to them directly instead of leaving the prior upset review. They're a lovely couple and it would be an honor to work with them again.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our prices vary with the type of photo session we are booking. So anywhere from $80 to $125 per hour
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We like to meet with our new customers if possible, or have a phone conversation with them, to get a feeling for the type of shots they want taken. For weddings we encourage the Engagement Photo Session when possible. It provides an opportunity for the clients and photographers to work together in a no pressure setting and have fun. We like to get together with our clients several times to sign paperwork, get a list of the timeline and ideas for the photographs they would like us to capture.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Online Webinar classes through Shaw Academy. Certificates received : Diploma in Photography; Ultimate Photography Program; The Art of Wedding Photography; Mastering Adobe Lightroom. Have also taken a course in Social Media Marketing
