Introduction: Bucky's work has been influenced by Benny Hill, Red Skelton, Robin Williams, Richard Pryor, and Steve Martin. Bucky's quick wit, swift transformation into zany characters, north country story telling, musical review and audience interactive routines are simply hysterical. This is what sets him apart from others. He compliments stand up and embraces all facets of comedy in one performance. If your a comedy lover he is refreshing, surprising and never tired.. there is no stall or chance to catch a breath with the twist and turns this comedic performer takes. His show will have you thinking about life and laughing when you least expect it. Making people laugh and sing out loud all night long. Having people come up to me and tell me "I haven't laughed that hard in years" or "we reach our financial goals and everyone had a great time". Bucky enjoys having happy clients and guests.

Have been going to comedy shows for years and was a bit set back when i heard it was going to be a one man show. I was proven wrong. I never stopped laughing, went from smiles and chuckles to laughing so hard i couldn't breath. It just wasn't comedy it was entertainment. The only down side is i know i was laughing so damn hard at times i missed out on gags. Audience was involved and he kept right in step with the twists and turns. He asked for an assistant and all at our table pointed to one person. He called her up and said since you're so popular at the table you must know who the hot shit of the group is and she readily pointed her out. The skit was a riot. The laughter last night was infectious and even, and we all know them, the critics of the group, were laughing and at the end of the night grouped together trying to point out a down time. Sadly there was on. He took a break and we had to entertain ourselves for a half hour. Even that wasn't bad. we got a chance to catch out breath and recover. I've been to a lot of comedy shows seeing a lot of head liners. I haven't laughed so hard i couldn't breath in a few years. Thanks i needed it.

I have had the opportunity to attend a number of Bucky’s shows starting back in the early 1990s. Bucky combines his outstanding musical talent with Hilarious standup comedy, he creates characters that we all can identify with and includes members of the audience in much of his show. Without any doubt Bucky Lewis is a very funny comedian and talented performer. One of New Hampshire’s best home grown talents.

We hired Bucky for a High School Class Chem Free Graduation Party and his musical comedy act was a huge hit, not only among the students, but the parents as well. His interaction with his guests, versatility and improvisation with any particular group, will make for an excellent evening and many lasting memories.

Bucky was the entertainment for our Christmas Party this year which hosted 114 guests. From the moment the show opened, it was a non-stop laugh fest. It was good ol' New England humor which never crossed the line, and was interactive with the audience. His show was an hour and half of non-stop fun, laughter and tears. I can hardly wait till next year's party. Also, Bucky's true passion is performing for fund raisers that benefit children, and I anticipate seeing him again in the coming months!!

FAQs

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

Fundraisers and Corporate Events are the most common events. Bucky also performs at a few public venues in Ma, RI and NH however, he is seldom rarely found at comedy clubs. Bucky has never followed the path other comedic performers do, his business for over 20 years has been based on word of mouth advertising from clients and fans.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Make sure your performer has at least 10 plus years experience in a variety of venues. Your entertainer should also be able to provide you with references you may call on and base these reference on the type of event your hosting. Insure your performer is clear on content rating, venue information and technical contacts for that venue. Make sure that your entertainer is aware of stage limits or equipment requirements. Call on all references and make sure you read your invoice and contract so there are no surprises or mishaps. Price does not always mean you'll be hiring the best.. do your homework. Word of mouth references are good one is never enough. Make sure your entertainer has worked in a wide variety of events.
