About this pro
My only concern was that I had asked the refrigerator to also be looked at and have a water line hooked up and get the ice machine and water dispenser working. The pro came and installed the water line, but found that there was a piece needed for the final hook up. He went to the hardware store nearby to find the part and when it wasn't found he instead just said he was finished and got paid and left. I was not present at the time, but I had someone who overlooked the work. I had expected to at least have a working dispenser when the refrigerator was "completed" as the pro indicated, but instead was left with running back and forth to the hardware store to try to find the correct part and now my dispenser doesn't even work. I had expected to have a pro ensure the work was completed before being paid instead of giving up when one hardware store doesn't have the required part. The showers however now have hot water and we are able to take hot showers. I just figured a $300 job (quoted at $250) would mean I would have everything requested completed and working properly.May 3, 2018Verified
Came out on short notice which I appreciate and didn't charge me an exorbitant amount to come at night time instead of during work hours.Jul 28, 2017Verified

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? Our pricing system depends on whether the job is plumbing, heating, pool/spa or a customized service. We are available nights and weekends and do not charge extra for nights and weekends as long as the job was scheduled that way ahead of time. We do charge an extra $50.00 dispatch fee for an emergency call that requires us to come to a customer's home right away. We also charge some calls on a per hour basis but for larger jobs will quote a flat fee for the entire job. We believe that our prices are lower than most companies and are able to work with a customer's budget.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? Our typical process for starting to work with a new customer starts by a phone conversation with that customer (sometimes an e-mail before that first phone call). If the customer is looking for an estimate, we then schedule a time to come out and take a look at the project and gather information needed to complete the estimate and once that estimate has been approved, we schedule the job. If the first time we speak to the customer, it is for a emergency job that needs to be done right away, we typically will quote them our hourly rate for the type of job they need and make arrangements to meet up with the customer later that day or night.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Continuing education is a requirement in order to maintain and renewing plumbing, heating and pool licenses. We also regularly attend seminars and trade shows in order to educate ourselves in new products as they are introduced.
