I've worked for Jennifer, who was the Writing Studio Director at my college, and she also has helped me with my writing on a professional level. Jennifer is excellent at relaying how each person can maximize learning. She is very clear, but also very friendly with her guidance. When working with college students, Jennifer is able to help them break assignments down into easily digestible tasks and suggest edits (some that are significant and some that are minor) with ease and confidence. She tends to use a guiding method of asking questions and allowing you to find the answer. She is astute when it comes to ascertaining whether or not a student already knows an answer. If they do know it and just can't "see" it - she helps lead them to it. If they don't, she helps them find ways to research and remedy that issue, which build their confidence as a writer and a person.
