Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: Kings Flooring is a family owned and operated business and we stand out from other flooring companies in many ways. We truly take pride our craft and enjoy what we do. As the owner, I'm personally on every job, and pay strong attention to every minor detail, on every job, no matter how big or small. I always focus on what my customer wants and will not leave until they are 100% satisfied. I enjoy making homes look beautiful. It truly changes the whole look of a homes interior when you replace or refinish the floors. You can take a house that is truly ugly and make it beautiful by just changing the floors. Knowing that I'm leaving my customers with floors that they'll love for years to come really makes me happy.

We had a small outdoor patio done by Kings Flooring. We ended up being very impressed and satisfied with their work. It was done on time and very well. Price was very fair and actually Kings Flooring worked with us on finding the way to complete work with the most reasonable expense. We also received a call from them after 2 weeks to check on how our patio was holding on after the rainy, hot and humid weather. We will hire them again. Thank you, Kings Flooring!

Details: Outside patio • 101 - 200 sq ft • No existing material (e.g., tile, carpet) needs to be removed • Concrete • Porcelain • Yes; I already have the tiles

Kings Flooring sanded and refinished my (almost) 100 year old oak floors and they look beautiful. There were details (like getting into corners) that were skipped by other floor professionals I’ve hired in the past on other projects. My interactions with Elvis and Ryan were many and they are both a pleasure to work with. Can’t beat the value - very good price for the quality of workmanship.

Details: 501 - 750 sq ft • Yes, I need a stain applied • Residential

Hi Kim, Thank you sooo much for this wonderful review! Ryan and I really enjoyed working with you. It was great that you wanted to be involved and explore the different options when it comes to staining or not and the different types of finishes. Together we decided not to stain and to use an oil-based poly with a satin finish and your floors ended up coming out absolutely beautiful! Good luck to you moving forward and I know you'll love the landscaping work that my brother-in-law's company North Point is going to do for you. I'm happy I could refer you to someone who will make your yard beautiful just like your floors. Thanks again for the awesome review! Elvis

Elvis responded quickly, addressed our concerns and was able to do the work in a very short window we had available. The floors are beautiful. I would definitely recommend him.

Details: 251 - 500 sq ft • No, I do not need a stain applied • Residential

We liked everything about the job Kings Flooring did on the two rooms they refinished. It started with a timely quote which was quite fair and excellent phone contact before and during the job. We knew exactly what they were going to do each day and what time they would be showing up. There was a bit of extra work that needed to be done but they did that as part of the estimated coast. They answered questions, helped move furniture, and were always polite and professional. BTW, the work they did was excellent. Our floors look like they did 40 years ago when we moved in our house.

Details: 100 - 250 sq ft • Room(s) not in a rectangular or square shape • Yes, I need a stain applied • Residential

Kings Flooring's reply
Hi Susan, I just realized that I never thanked you for writing me this top-notch review. I really appreciate when my customers take the time out of their busy lives to leave me a review. Being a fairly new company, open for only 2 years now, reviews are extremely important to my success. I put 110% effort into every job I do and my customers can see that so they write about it in their reviews. This allows other people looking for a flooring pro to see that my past clients loved me and my work and they decide to hire me, too. The more good reviews my customers write, the more jobs I get hired to do. So, thank you again, and if you ever need flooring help in the future, give me a call! I hope you have a great summer, Elvis

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Every floor is different and so is what every customer wants and needs. Therefore, an onsite estimate is always the best way to accurately price a job. Here is a ballpark of my average price ranges... ▪Refinish (sand and apply 3 coats oil-based poly): $2.50-$3.50/sq.ft. •Water-based poly: $4.00/sq.ft.+ •To have floor stained add: $.75-$1.00/sq.ft. ▪Buff & coat (buff & apply 1 coat poly):$1.00-$1.50/sq.ft. ▪Install unfinished product (install, sand, and apply 3 coats oil-based poly): $5.00-$6.00/sq.ft. •water-based poly: $ TBD ▪Install prefinished product- $2.50-$3.50/sq.ft. ▪Repairs must be priced onsite

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I feel that an open line of communication is extremely important when dealing with a customer, whether old or new. When I meet a new customer my primary goal is making sure they're comfortable and satisfied. I am willing to answer any and all questions related to my knowledge and expertise, as well as the specific work I will be performing for them. It's really very simple, if the customer is happy, I'm happy.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have more than 17 years experience working with hardwood and tile. I know all there is to know when installing, repairing, and refinishing hardwood floors.
