While Ron did a great job with the installation of a gas water heater along with the Ipex pipes, there were a couple of pending items that I had asked him to complete before the town inspection but he never did. I had to get the damaged drywall fixed by my handyman prior to the home closing. Good quality work and price but could have been more thorough and professional

I recently hired Hillard Mechanical to install a new HTP ELU-150 WCN Combi Unit (Heat & Hot Water). Ron has installed a water heater and serviced my old boiler in the past so I knew he did good work at fair prices. I initially contacted Ron for a consultation for this job. He provided his suggestion for what my home needed, explained how the new system would work, and what I could expect for the scope of the job, and he gave me a fair estimate. I selected Ron for the job. The attention to detail and the communication throughout the process was great. The job was finished on time and he met his estimate. The installation was truly a work of art! The quality and workmanship that Ron and his son Ron provided was stellar! I am completely satisfied with every aspect of this experience and I will absolutely hire Ron again in the future. I highly recommend Hillard Mechanical. Thanks Ron & Ron!

Ron was great, he quoted me over the phone, gave me a competitive price. Filed a permit and completed the job a day earlier. Great job overall!

FAQs

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I attend continuing education for plumbing and gas fitting in both states Massachusettes and New Hampshire every year thru the best qualified proffesional courses offered.

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

replacement of waterheaters and boilers replace water heaters with tankless on-demand heaters conversions from oil heating to gas heating repair and replace all plumbing fixtures and faucets gas piping to generators , fireplaces , stoves , dryers , furnaces, water heaters , garage heaters ect.. plumbing and gas for new construction, additions, remodels .Little faucet repairs or multi-residential projects , strip malls ormulti-story commercial build outs. No job to small or to big. Try us out! You will be glad you did. Guaranteed personally by me Ron Hillard Owner of Hillard Plumbing and Heating Inc.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Make sure who you decide to hire has a valid plumbing and gas license. Has liability insurance to cover you and your property in case of an accident.Make sure they pull the proper permits if neccessary so if you ever do need to make a claim your insurance company wont deny you. Check their reviews and /or references. Dont give them any money untill the job is under way and you see the material on site. It is sad to say but there is always a few bad apples out ther and you dont want to be the one they hurt. Ask what products your plumber is going to use.get types , model numbers , sizes , and capacities and make sure it is quality material and a correct fit for your application. you dont want to get the job done and all paid for and realize the equipment is inadequate and wont do the job it was intended for.
