Nicole has cared for my horses, cats, and dogs on numerous occasions. She is extremely knowledgeable and caring and treats each pet like they are her own. It's hard to find someone that has the expertise and genuine love for your pets like Nicole has. It's great to know your pets are in good hands when you can't be there to care for them yourself.Oct 25, 2019Happy Paws PetCare of NH's reply
thanks for your review Jess. we grew up together riding horses and when you're away it took care of your horses and your cats on any other odd animals you had roaming about. who says I'm always be thankful for everything you taught me about how to care for animals and provide the best possible care as well as being a tunes to the slightest change in an animal's demeanor so that we could keep an eye on them and get the medical attention as quickly as possible. I can't thank you enough for everything you taught me and giving me the opportunity as a young teenager to take on the huge responsibility of caring for horses cats and dogs I think before I even had my driver's license and beyond of course. because I was able to work with you and your animals I learned what hard work meant tossing hay bales and cleaning up stalls then going in to take care of the domestic animals even though you're completely exhausted and I truly appreciate you for all that you instilled in me at such a young age.
Nicole is amazing. She treats my dog like she would her own! Her communication is quick and precise while always having your dogs best interest in mind. She is a great assets to have and your dog will thank you for the new friend they will get!Dec 25, 2019
Our dog Georgia had a wonderful time. Nicole provided her with a comfortable, happy home away from home. We are happy to have found such a great dig sitter.Dec 22, 2019

thank you! you're boy is a star! everyone who sees his picture falls in love with that sweet face. cant wait to see him next week! hope we'll get some time when it's warmer too because I think he's going to love the 50 foot lead and running all around out here in dog country! I honestly don't know if there is a person in this world that could not fall in love with him after spending ten minutes with him. he really is one of the sweetest dogs I have ever met in my life. And don't forget Duncan I've met many many dogs!!♥️♥️
Nicole was great with my Sadie. We will be meeting again with her soon.Jan 29, 2020Verified
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?my pricing is clearly marked and my service is and the pricing is per day. I do encourage everyone to look at the pricing schedule and not the estimate that thumbtack provides as the estimates can be very misleading depending on what is written in your initial request. often times when I am walking dogs and it's a nice day out in the dog enjoying the walk I will extend the walk without charging additional fees. I especially tend to do this if I know there is bad weather forecasted and the next day or so walk may need to be shortened. I do also extend walks when I feel the dog just need some extra exercise or it's a beautiful day andeveryone is happy. of course there is no additional charge for these types of events. In the event that you need to extend your dog stay by a day, the regular charge will be applied when notice is given 24 hours in advance. in the event that the appropriate notice is not provided, an additional fee well be applied in addition to the extra day fee in the event that pet sitting is occurring at your residence and the scope of the project goes beyond what was agreed upon additional fees will be applied. typical scope of pet sitting at a client's house includes daily check-ins feeding watering cleaning up after pets. should anyting occur pertaining to the house that needs attention such as unexpected fire alarms, broken pipes, lack of heat, losing electricity, or any other non pet related incident that requires attention additional fees will be charged accordingly.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I like to have a face-to-face meet and greet after speaking on the phone and I have a list of questions that I like to go through but I often have many more questions than what I come prepared with. I also like to meet the dog and if possible everybody in the family to make sure that it's a good fit for everyone and that everyone feels comfortable. If the opportunity presents itself and it's a dog walking job I do like to take the dog for a short walk to make sure that your dog will be comfortable with me alone. I also have done free overnight trials for dogs that are very anxious just to make sure that if you're boarding your dog with me and you're concerned about how he or she will do we can do a trial when you're nearby in case anything goes wrong and you're not leaving your dog with me for an extended. of time. I do everything possible to make sure your pet is safe secure and happy as are you.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I had three years of vet tech training, I have been through classes so I am able to teach general obedience in dogs, and I am currently in the process of getting officially certified 4 higher-level dog training as well as well as formal agility training
