I am currently taking guitar lessons with Jeanne and she is fantastic! She makes learning easy and fun. I would recommend her to anyone who is just beginning or who is experienced and wants to perfect their skill.
I've been taking guitar lessons from Mark Connors for about 3 years. Having not played since my early twenties, at 60 years old I decided to look for a music teacher. Since I only had played rhythm guitar, my goal was to learn lead guitar and improve what little skills I had. Mark has a huge amount of experience, patience, and musical talent. I always look forward to each lesson, and because of Mark's patience and friendly approach, my enthusiasm and desire to improve has increased. Any song or technique that I need help with, Mark has the answer. No matter what level, if you are looking for a professional, helpful music teacher, look no further.
Troy Price is an outstanding Musician and teacher. Ive been taking guitar lessons from him for many years and he is a very supportive and talented musician who worked with me from the very basics of playing guitar: knowing how to read guitar sheet music, playing songs, improvising, and style. He lets the student decide what they would like to learn rather than go by a curriculum of sorts and he breaks down what ever your musical goals are into a few steps that you'll work at together in 30 minute weekly sessions. i highly recommend Troy Price Music not just for guitar lessons but for all music related services he offers from bass guitar to ukelele
Matthew is a truly excellent guitar teacher. Not only is he a complete expert in all elements of playing and musicianship, he was able to respond exactly to my needs and wishes about how to improve my playing. He's patient, clear and also a lot of fun to work with! I give him my highest recommendation and would definitely send anyone who wanted to learn guitar to him for lessons.
My first guitar instructor was my dad back when I was about ten years old. Fast forward about thirty years to 2003 when I started taking guitar lessons from Steve. You learn more than just playing a guitar with Steve. He teaches you how to read music and about music theory. You will appreciate other genres of music and maybe even a different instrument or two. I now have a mandolin and ukelele (along with a few guitars) that Steve is also teaching me how to play. I started lessons with Steve on a whime and am glad that I did. It has been a wonderful experience learning more about music and how to play an instrument. And I owe Steve a great deal of thanks and credit for making this experience fun.
Love guitar lessons with Steve! He has an abundance of experience, authored a great book, great CDs and amazing teacher. I am fortunate to have him for a teacher. Thanks for the motivation Steve!
I began taking voice lessons from Peter Hostage in May and have been highly satisfied with my decision to do so. If you are considering taking music lessons with Mr. Hostage, know that you can expect a high level of professionalism, a relaxed atmosphere, and most importantly, quality musical instruction. As someone who began singing at an early age, I have had the opportunity to sing both individually and as part of numerous groups. In just three weeks Peter has introduced me to technique that I had not been exposed in my 10+ years singing. I am confident that continued lessons with Mr. Hostage will enhance my vocal ability. The lessons are definitely worth the investment!
I have taken bass guitar and guitar lessons (incl. theory) from Mark for five years while he was in San Francisco, and benefited greatly from his approach to teaching. Mark has a way of finding the balance between making the students comfortable and making them push their limits at the same time. While I was with him he had students of all ages, and the annual student recital was always the highlight of the Calendar. I cannot recommend him highly enough.
Both my daughters took guitar lessons with Wes. Hands down he is the one of best in the area. Wes has the ability to reach anyone at any level and brings out the absolute best in them. He listens to the individual student and understands their needs and desires to help bring out their personal best. Wes is versatile and talented and we were fortunate to know Wes and be taught by such a consummate professional. He relates well to any age level and doesn't push his music repertoire/agenda onto his students but gives them the opportunity to explore their style and genre of music freely. I highly recommend this fine and talented musician and teacher!!
Eli is the best guitar teacher I have ever come across. Outside of his one of a kind performance style he has a teaching style that has helped me TREMENDOUSLY by catering the lessons to EXACTLY where I am "at" on the instrument. His demeanor is warm, thoughtful, and engaging. I can't recommend him enough!!!
Amazing guitar teacher. Top notch instructor. I highly recommend Byron if your are interested in learning the guitar.

My goal as a teacher is to make sure that I completely understand the needs/goals of every student as individuals. It is by doing so that I am able to customize my lesson plans to fit each student, and form more open dialogue between students, parents, and myself. I also offer recital opportunities to those students who are up to the challenge of performing. Some will, and some will not, depending on their goals. Recitals are never mandatory, but always encouraged!
I have 50 years' experience in playing guitar. If you like what you hear on the website, I can help you learn to do it. I will help you learn to play the guitar, not play things on the guitar. I present a set of tools to allow to make the music you want. I am not a good teacher for someone interested in contemporary pop music or a complete beginner. I do not give weekly lessons. The intervals depend on the student. I can give enough in an hour to keep someone busy for many weeks. My fee is $50 per hour.

I am a professional acoustic guitarist, teaching fingerstyle guitar. I have won the Merle Travis Thumbpicking Championship at the Ozark Folk Center and play locally in central NH and Vermont. I teach at my home near Blaisdell Lake.
I play rock songs and cater to the students interests and expectations, my guitar lessons are not rigidly framed but flexibly outlined to allow the student to progress on there own with the benefit of an instructor as reference and guidance.
