Eric is one outstanding coach! I had the pleasure of his counsel a little over a year ago and it was amazing the impact his advice had on me. I recommend his sessions to anyone looking to advance where they are in life. Eric listens very well. I remember he would listen and then use stories and metaphors I understood to explain a point. One time I remember him talking to me about my marathon races and asked what I was thinking about at the beginning of the race. (These kinds of endurance races are normal for me and I do have a routine) At the beginning of a race I told him I am thinking about my breathing, my running pace and taking the next few steps ...one step at a time..one mile at at time. Now he said to take the same approach and preparation for race day to my business. I did that. Then incredible things started to happen. Circumstances, opportunities, people, things started changing in my life. Eric instructed me to start walking with small steps excellently done then the goal will be accomplished. Now I am experiencing more success than ever before! Eric was kind, compassionate, patient, understanding, and has all the excellent makings of an effective life coach and mentor. I highly recommend Eric Russell. I first met Eric when I was in a crisis situation and he was able to help me articulate and document the many thoughts, feelings, and choices I had to make. Eric helped eliminate confusion and bring focus. He helped me sort through feelings on a personal, relationship issue as well as outline a path forward in a serious career change. Eric met with us privately first - we hired him for our children (a vocal band). We discussed our concerns and objectives and clearly we knew that he understood what we were looking for. He met with them at a later time and discussed their goals and inspired our one shy son and motivated the others to converge all their individual desires and needs to propel them forward. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge by the hour. This enables me to better serve the client by pricing according to the approximate time it will take to achieve their outcome.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Clients complete and intake form, questionnaire and personality profile. We review together goals and outcomes desired and identify 4 areas of change that will be pursued. Clients commit for an initial period of time no less than 5 weeks unless they have a specific one time need that can be addressed quickly.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Coach Certification - New Skills Academy London England. Coaching Educational Background - B A organizational behavior, Brown University. Mentoring and Apprenticing over 12 years before my solo practice began.
