I had many little jobs that needed to get done capped off by a complete bathroom renovation. Jim was reliable, complete, fairly priced, clean, and an excellent communicator as I was not present for any part of the job. He went out of his way many times to pick up product that was not at the local Lowes or Home Depot. I was also impressed with Jim's many skills. He is an all around great carpenter, painter, plumber, and electrician. I would highly recommend him for any job that you might have (big or small). I will be keeping his contact information close by for when I need him again. Rob, Manchester NH
Mike came to my home to secure some stairs and replace my back door. He was so friendly, on time and extremely thorough. I will be using him for all our handyman needs. He is extremely fair with pricing too.
Joe did a good job on all the work he performed. He's very handy, capable of a variety of jobs that you would have to spend a lot more for hiring a plumber or electrician. Would hire again if he were not so busy.
Tom Sorensen started under my contractor, hired to transform/renovate my new condo. Tom began on the job as a painter primarily and bit by bit I observed even greater and more varied talents. While painting I was observed that Tom was great at his job, pleasant to have around, and he always left after all was cleaned up each day. My idea for the master bedroom was to paint stripes alternate colors to look like wall paper but in my exact size and color choices. The job turned out superbly so we did this same process except, using different measurements in the hall guest bath. All looks great. After the renovation was completed, I have employed Tom has a handy man. He saved a fine but old and weak cocktail table by taking it apart, regluing and then cleaning it up like new. Then when a 4 foot wall was taken down and we all found an ugly pole in the middle of a now open room, Tom suggested a french technique, trompe'loile (forgive spelling, please) which makes my newly painted column look like it is fluted (it is not ) and in the two colors of the room, done with antique faux cracks, etc, Trust me, it is fabulous. And now Tom is saving an antique Register Clock that fell from the wall. I expect that when I get it back it will perform as new, still look antique....but put back together with loving care. And electrical problems sees easy to accomplish too. Tom is a really good guy and I wish him luck in his new business with himself as CEO. You can trust him, and as long as his vehicle is running, he will always be on the job.
We needed a plumber quick for our leaking toilet and they got back to us right away and were able to fix it the same day!!! He was even able to provide us with the right toilet since ours was a special ordered size.
I don't really write reviews but I was very pleased with the work that this company did for me. We have used them several times and plan to continue to use them in the future with all our plumbing needs. Sean was very diligent in all the work he did for us. He completed the jobs in a timely manner and at a very reasonable price. We had our kitchen updated and Sean put in a beautiful farmers sink with new faucets and disposal. He corrected the piping that was installed wrong from the previous plumber as well. In our newly finished basement we had a full bath put in by him, which came out amazing as well as replaced our water heater. He also re-piped our outside water faucet and replaced our sprinkler that wasn't working. If you are looking for a plumber, I highly recommend this company. He is a reasonable, reliable straight forward plumber with no hidden costs.
Kevin is great and does excellent work!
Steve was out to do an estimate within and hour, work was started promptly at 9am the next day and was done quickly, efficiently and professionally. Make sure your plumber pulls the permits when replacing a gas water heater. I didn't know we needed to, but Steve took care of it!
Where to start. Last year, my husband started to renovate our kitchen, and he progressed as far as demoing the entire room, down to the studs. Shortly there after, my husband was diagnosed with Pancreatic cancer, and as such, my husband was unable to continue work on our kitchen. After a friend of ours got the word out that my husband was terminally ill, and our kitchen was in a shambles, Steve Monticone, and his crew, stepped in and completed the project. The only money that Steve would accept from us, was money to pay for building supplies. He would accept no money for his time or labor. They did a wonderful job. From start to finish, the project took five weeks, and during that time, Steve or someone from his crew, was at our house seven days a week, because they knew that my husband's time was limited, and they wanted to have the project completed before he died. They were able to accomplish that goal, and my husband was able to see the new kitchen. This past spring, I wanted to put a deck and patio on my house, and I hired Steve and his crew to do the work. The end result is breath taking. I cannot say enough good things about Steve Monticone and Turnhouse Construction. They are honest and hard working and they do quality work. You would be doing yourself a disservice if you didn't hire them. Finding contractors who're honest, reliable and competent is a rarity and I wouldn't hesitate to hire them again.
When our well pump failed, it was clear our regular plumber was not up to the task of getting things fixed. We were fortunate to connect with Thunder Well and Pump: it's all they do. Steve was responsive and professional, located the well without digging up the entire yard, and brought the well and pump up to code. Afterwards, he replaced the topsoil and hauled the old well cover off. We were very pleased overall and recommend him and his company to anyone.
I feel fortunate to have been referred to Advanced Plumbing when my water tank burst. Keith is everything you want in a plumber but never expect to get. Professional, skilled, timely, and priced fairly. Aside from saving my butt in emergencies, I hired Keith to install a natural gas heater in my garage. Five stars. Call them and see for yourself.
Excellent work, done in a timely fashion. Email communication could be more timely, phone for anything important.
I bought a motorcycle from Derrick and it was delivered to me when he said it would be and in good condition as he promised.
I call them in the morning and they show up about 2 -3 hours later to get the job done.very impress.
I had several jobs done by Cat, both small and large, spread out over the course of a couple of years. She always arrived when scheduled, left our home and property at least as clean as she found it, and stayed until she had ensured we had any needed facilities operational. Had she not moved from the area I have no doubt our professional relationship would have continued. I believe the first project we hired Cat for was such an insignificant task we had a horrible time getting anyone to even show up to look at it, let alone agree to do it. Cat not only arrived when scheduled, had the tools necessary, but then actually agreed to the task at an extremely reasonable price and crawled around in our very hot very cramped attic crawl space to relocate our cable line to the opposite wall of our living room. We next had her back for a small remodel to our kitchen. We had a filtered water line added to our refrigerator on the opposite wall from the water source, countertop and undermount sink including a hard wired garbage disposal, and new vinyl flooring laid. We were extremely pleased with the result. To list a few of the smaller projects I can recall; we had her go to our rental property, power wash graffiti off and then repaint the privacy fence surrounding the property, all the while negotiating the snarling snapping head belonging to our tenants very nasty dog that was periodically popping under the fence. We had all of our outside lights rewired and replaced; doorways and pathway. And a section of our roof fascia and soffit replaced and repainted due to rot. The larger projects were the previously mentioned kitchen and our main bathroom. In the bathroom we had pretty much everything redone except for the walls. Cat leveled the floor and then tiled it with 1 x 1 ceramic tile Id chosen and also installed it in my requested diamond pattern cutting each tile individually to form the half diamond border. I had purchased new fixtures for the shower and sink which she installed and the old toilet was removed and new toilet put in its place. As you can see we were very happy with the work that Cat had done for us and were very disappointed when she left the area. We still havent been able to find a replacement with the diversity of skills and reasonable rates, not to mention the reliability. And while Im not a timid person or sexist in nature; both my husband and I felt a little more comfortable having a woman working in our home, both when I was here with the kids alone and when no one was here at all.
Awesome work. Very quick and thorough when getting the job done and can complete almost anything you ask. Will definitely be hiring him again in the future!
Had this job done a while back but just getting around to review. Wanted to leave 5 stars for the excellent job. I hired this person again for snow removal from roof. Another 5 stars.
