Well, it looks beautiful and I love it. Everything was going perfectly, his professional capabilities were amazing. As the workers showed up and did the work suddenly he was absent. As he was working at other jobs and leaving his workers at bay. Things started going wrong, fence panels weren’t installed properly, fence posts weren’t installed properly, fence is left with at least 6” holes off the ground basically just all the way around. Porch beams were set with holes and bark facing up which I had them replace them and they did but porch posts couldn’t because they’d have to redo the area so I suffer with looking at things on a daily basis. His workers replaced my slider door, I had to go over things with them to fix or adjust or they’re have left it uneven. A professional would of suggested to replace the board on the inside floor but he didn’t and I was literally afraid to ask at this time and it’s still uneven, I have to slams it shut to close properly. I asked for a lock with a key on my fence gate and he installed it so the key goes on the inside of the fence in the backyard. Now someone comes and flips the little lever up on the outside and it unlocks automatically and they can enter. His response was, “You never specified how you wanted it. I figured you would lock it when your in your yard so nobody can enter it. That’s the whole reason for the upgraded lock”. Haaaa what??? Is he for real? His response now is: Wow, Never did I say I wouldn’t change it. But with the message you just sent forget it. I’ll also be posting these screen shot.. and: And how you loved your project and how your sorry how you acted. I have it all. Now you want to have a mood swing and bad mouth us. I’ll just defend myself and post screenshots .. Well, I have screenshots as well and have more than I put here and decided to just post these. I’m totally happy at the finished projects but it’s the little things that I’m unhappy with. He told me in the beginning he’d take a huge rock out of my driveway, he reneged on that. He told me he’d put soil where the fence gaps are and he reneged on that. Then there’s that stupid lock.. He now won’t fix. He made it like I was being picky at things, elwell paying him $29k I’d expect even the little things fixed and completed properly without attaching my thoughts. He’s supposed to be professional but he also was a child. If i said something about something the response was, well it’s in the contract. As for the contract, I should of read it but I believe it was his responsibility to go on ER it with me so I could have a say to change what I didn’t like, like the white around the stairs and porches, that I dislike completely. The only other is the fence gate, I told the workers I needed beams going across like my gate had and they said okay but never did it. I need that so my huge dogs don’t stand on the chicken wire(cheap)they put on the gate. I’m sorry to have put my review like this but he’s still attacking me with words.

Hire him. We are so happy with the work Xavier and his crew did. Going into this porch reno project, we expected to uncover complications and we certainly did. Xavier rolled with it, adjusted the plans, and delivered a great final product. It’s obvious how much he cares about the work he takes on. It was also great to hear these two guys outside laughing all day long. They weren’t shouting at each other, they seemed to work seamlessly together, and sounded like they were having a blast. That was something else we appreciated. He’ll be the first call for our future projects, for sure.

Although the timeline was a longer than I had hoped for with this deck project, Xavier and XCC was an excellent contractor to work with from start to finish. Especially given the craziness of this year and difficulty obtaining certain types of building materials. He was patient, listened to all my concerns and answered all my questions after I first reached out and we started going over the plans / quote. (This process was far better than what I experienced with another local competing Trex contractor.) Xavier was always easy to talk to and transparent throughout the project. Any issues or faults that popped up he would bring to my attention and discuss how he was going to address them and/or make it right. Very much appreciated when the project was first "complete", he wasn't happy with the finished look and incurred some substantial cost on his end to rework. Even after I made the final payment on the project, Xavier reached back out as he thought of a small finishing touch that was forgotten, as well as another part of the deck that wasn't sitting well with him. This speaks volumes, as it shows he's not just trying to collect money and move to the next thing. Clearly puts a lot of thought and care into each project - he wants to ensure everything is done as best as possible and that his clients are happy. I can confidently say that I'm very happy I had Xavier and XCC working my deck renovation and how great everything turned out (see included pictures). Thanks Xavi!

We had a great experience with XCC Pro Builders. Xavier and his crew added a half-bathroom, built out an area for a soaking tub, put in front porch flooring, and added drywall and replaced stairs in the basement. Xavier was a pleasure to work with from the initial estimate and planning through completion. He dealt with questions, the inevitable problems that crop up, and unforeseen circumstances with his work trucks with good-natured cheer, patience, and professionalism. XCC produced high-quality craftsmanship at a very reasonable price. Xavier and his crew were respectful to clients and their property, worked hard, and were totally accountable and accommodating. XCC is highly recommended.

Xavier and his crew did a great job replacing my second story back staircase--they seemed to truly care about craftsmanship. They had no problem with me pulling a permit and getting an inspection when some of our other bidders wanted to skip that step. There were a few scheduling set backs, but Xavier was always quick to return my emails and texts. He and his crew were polite and courteous. The finished product turned out great, and the quality and cost were on point. We would absolutely hire Xcc again.

I've done many projects that I'm pretty fond of, right now we're actually in the middle of a big renovation and it's coming out excellent the client is one of the happiest people I worked for and it's only been about three months in the works

I would say do your research, contact past clients and check up on references just to make sure that the individual or company is a good fit and things would work out well between you. that they are available to provide exactly what you're looking for
