I have a high-stress job and lead an active lifestyle, which basically means I beat my body up a lot. Over the years, I've learned how valuable massage therapy is for me to maintain this lifestyle, but I've struggled to find a therapist and/or massage studio that met my health and scheduling needs--and, boy did I try every therapist and every studio within an hour radius of Manchester! That is, until I met Moira. I've never worked with a therapist that is as talented and compassionate as her, or as dedicated to me and identifying and resolving my personal aches and pains. She knows each of our bodies is different and approaches each person and session uniquely. Her training working with a chiropractor shows and really differentiates her, too. She will "geek out" in a session telling you about all the muscular and lymphatic systems she's working and studying in you, and how they are interrelated; she knows this stuff! I now have the confidence that an injury won't keep me limping in pain for weeks or get in the way again of my next fitness challenge; I sincerely look forward to achieving those goals with her, and bringing my body and mind to their fullest potential. I wouldn't trust my health or my physical strength with anyone else.
Eric's Healing Hands put him on my Top Five best massage List...this from someone who's had massage therapy for 20+ years. His european holistic approach offered deep relaxation followed by rejuvenation. Skilled, professional, gentle persona, outstanding.
I am new to Reiki but I am now a convert! Most recently I had the pleasure of experiencing Reiki I training with Grace. Grace had encouraged me to attend so that I would be able to practice Reiki healing on myself. I have non-small cell lung cancer (EGFR positive) and am currently being treated with the chemotherapy drug, Tarceva which has numerous side effects including, among other things, diarrhea and rash. The rash is prickly and "hot" all over my body, thus very uncomfortable! I was amazed that right after my Reiki treatment those feelings were gone! I think this is a dramatic example of the power of Reiki!!I am convinced that Reiki will help minimize my chemo side effects, and, as I continue to practice self healing, I have found that my symptoms have continued to be minimal. I would highly recommend Grace's Reiki training. She creates a peaceful, soothing atmosphere using all the senses: sound, scent, sight, touch, and taste. I loved her presentation style; she was able to simplify complex concepts while presenting important information. I would also recommend her Reiki therapy. Grace has continually used her Reiki skills to help me heal - using both distance Reiki and "hands-on" Reiki. She's a very generous as well as a very skilled practitioner. -Laurie Geary, M.Ed., PCC (Professional Certified Coach) www.ingearcoaching.com
Doc Gluskin is extremely educated in physical therapy. The methods and advice that he applied to my injuries have made my recovery simple and effective
Love, love, love the energy of the practitioner as well as the therapy room. This is the place to go to if you are dealing with a health issue /addiction and are interested in alternative modalities. Cheryl is a highly skilled healer who puts you at ease instantly! She is prompt in following up with me after sessions. The inflammation in my leg has reduced remarkably since I started Reiki sessions with her. Highly recommend!
I was involved in an automobile accident several months before visiting and was unable to find any relief for my neck pain. I had tried physical therapy for months and it would help that day and maybe the next, but the pain came back. After a few massages I am like a new guy. I would recommend that anyone who has similar issues give this a try. The young lady is professional, and extremely responsive. The experience was completely relaxing and pleasant.
Coming from a high level sports background, it was nice to see someone so dedicated to a specific practice. Attention to detail and progression is a steady theme with the Barbell Therapy Model and it makes a huge difference. Strength is only part of the puzzle and you quickly realize that in sessions with Brett. I will continue going to him for quite some time.
I was very fortunate to hear about Steve from my yoga teacher. Steve is a true healer. I came to him with back discomfort and emotional pain. I came out of his office feeling light as a snowflake, physically and spiritually. This session has given me a burst of energy I needed to get over a difficult moment in life. Ever since Steve helped me, I've felt more aware of imbalances in my posture. I feel a muscle relieve and a calmer breath when I just remember his healing touch. I will definitely treat myself to his services again.
ShantiLoft Studio for yoga and reiki is a wonderful place to leave the outside world behind. Robin provides excellent guidance through Hatha yoga poses and meditation. I have participated in yoga classes on and off for 25 years and believe yoga to be an excellent gateway to the mind, body and spirit connection however; having a sensational teacher is key. Robin does a wonderful job and keeps me coming back for more each week. I have also experienced a very restorative reiki session at ShantiLoft. If you are considering yoga or reiki, try ShantiLoft, you will love it!
For the past several years, I have only employed Alan Rose for my massages; and since I have had great success with Alan, my wife and daughter have also received massage therapy from Alan. He provides a mobile service which is convenient and is always punctual. I, along with wife and daughter, have never received better service and care from any other massage therapist and highly recommend Alan to others. It also helps that Alan possesses an extremely positive personality, attitude and fine sense of humor.
I have been a client of Jennie Silva, massage therapist, for years and it just keeps getting better every visit. She has extensive knowledge and experience that she applies to her work, as well as an intuitiveness that I haven't come across in my experience with massage therapy. This clearly shows in how she is always honing her skills and techniques, while also trying new ones. Add to this her ability to listen and comprehend her clients needs, her background as a physical trainer, and her easy-going and professional manner and its no wonder I feel excellent every time and keep going back more.
RTT for Frequent Panic Attacks Andrew Barton, Age 21 I have suffered from severe anxiety my whole life. Throughout my early childhood, I would a meltdown anytime I was separated from my mother for school or any other activities. Later, this developed into OCD and debilitating social anxiety. My fears would often surface in the form of panic attacks. In these episodes, I would become convinced that I was having difficulty breathing or that something awful was about to happen to me. Although regular cognitive behavioral therapy helped me to control and subdue my fears enough to live a normal life, in recent years I have found that the panic attacks did not go away. In fact, in the months leading up to my first RTT session with Kasia, they were getting out of control. I was having panic attacks multiple times a day and constantly felt uneasy. When Kasia asked me what we should treat first, I immediately knew: I needed the panic attacks to stop! After only this one treatment, I saw an enormous improvement. The session itself left me feeling the most relaxed I had felt in months, and each morning and night when I listen to my recording I feel this peace again. Since my session, I have had almost no panic attacks and when I do, they have lost their bite. I find myself being able to reason my way through them, which anyone who has had this form of anxiety knows is not usually an option. The treatment has allowed me to see the cause of my fears, and this by itself has given me a tremendous relief. As someone who has been a patient of Kasia’s for over two years and has experienced the effects of RTT first hand, I cannot recommend her practice enough!
I have searched high and low for a great massage for the last 15 years and found Chris Benoit. Chris is fantastic. He works any problem areas you need. I love being able to book my appointments on-line.
I saw Joyce this week for my first massage with her. From the onset, I felt very relaxed and comfortable. During the massage, I was able to quiet my busy mind, felt the tension and stress leave my body. Thank you.

Manna massage is dedicated to creating meaningful and sustainable change in each client's soft tissue and is Brighton's best massage therapy. The work at Manna Massage is based on the premise that enhanced body awareness is the first step to symptom relief and wellness. The beauty of bodywork is that each practitioner brings his or her unique approach to a massage session. Each client and practitioner forms a unique working relationship, so finding the right fit is critical to successful bodywork. Anna Mulholland, founder of Manna Massage, meets with her clients to discuss the type of massage that will best meet their needs. After earning her diploma in Muscular Therapy in 2006 from the Cortiva Institute in Boston, Anna completed her Structural Integration training with the CORE Institute in November 2008, before opening Manna Massage. At Manna Massage, Anna specializes in several significant components of Therapeutic Massage: Myofascial Therapy: This form of therapy involves releasing tension through manipulating the deep fascia. The goal of this type of bodywork is to dissipate muscular tension and re-balance the body. In many cases, Anna will analyze a clients posture and recommend specific stretches or movements to support the benefits of Myofascial Therapy. Trigger Point Therapy: This form of Massage is also known Neuromuscular Therapy (NMT), which provides relief for clients who are suffering from painful, acute spasms in their muscles. The technique involves applying static finger pressure to the affected area, breaking the rhythm of the spasm and diminishing pain. Structural Integration: Think of Structural Integration as the big picture result of Therapeutic Massage. This means that as the soft tissue or fascia is worked on, the body is given space to realign itself in a healthy manner. Often tension, injuries, and physical and emotional trauma are held by the soft tissue resulting in chronic pain and discomfort. Structural Integration creates balance and ease of motion in the entire body. Pregnancy Massage: Pregnant women suffer from everyday tensions and pre-existing injury patterns as well as ligament laxity and additional strains from the postural changes that occur during pregnancy. Pregnancy Massage is gentle and safe, and provides relief from muscle cramps, spasms, and myofascial pain especially in the lower back, neck, hips, and legs. Manna Massage is located in Brighton's Cleveland Circle and accessible from all three branches of the Green line (B line at Chestnut Hill Avenue, C line at Cleveland Circle and D line at Reservoir, refer to the map). Theres plenty of on-street metered parking available. Anna takes clients by appointment only. Just wait till I get my hands on you. - Anna Mulholland
