- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is not complicated. I charge $25 per 30 minute lesson individually prior to lesson date, or $100 for 4 lessons paid at once in advance.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Completing my psychology degree and working as an behavior specialist allowed me the opportunity to observe and assist in music therapy sessions. This observation time sparked the desire in me to share my experience and knowledge of music with the community I am most passionate about: individuals with disabilities.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Allow your student a few sessions to adjust before making final decisions. Transitions and new environments can be more overwhelming than we realize, and there is a slightly longer process of familiarization in some cases.
