Introduction: I have 20 years of experience teaching hundreds of students of all ages and levels. I hold a Certificate in Performance and Teaching from Trinity College of Music, London, Additional training and certifications in the Suzuki method, Dalcroze Eurythmics, O’Connor Method, Music Together, Performance Wellness, Paul Rolland Method. Certified Vinyasa and Yin yoga teacher. Additional studies in linguistics and language acquisition. I specialize in teaching the whole musician. I can teach absolute beginners from the bottom up with a strong foundation in ear training, technique, repertoire, notation and theory, or work with those who have some skills already. I believe everyone needs to feel good when they play, and that the lesson environment needs to be nurturing, safe, and a positive environment with positive language. My yoga training helps me understand and teach the body, and my linguistics studies help me understand the process of music acquisition and music neuroscience. I look forward to working with you and sharing my knowledge. I genuinely want people to learn to play and progress because being fluent in music is everyone’s birthright.
