Video By Kevin
Kevin was very easy going and detail oriented, and was a great choice for my videography.Feb 13, 2018Verified
Working with Kevin was such pleasure! Kevin was very flexible and understanding. He always responds quickly. The videos came out better than I though! I definitely recommend Kevin for your big day! You won't regret it. Hope I'll get another chance to work with him againNov 14, 2017Verified

Q & A
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I am here to tell your story. When possible, I like to get to know you through a brief meeting--in person, or by phone, or Skype, to be sure I can tell your story well. Even ten minutes can help a lot. Typically there is an event to be captured and then I go off to my cave to do the editing. I will send the first draft and work with people to make sure we are all happy with the final product.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?I originally started working in radio. When I was eight years old, I wanted to sing or play the drums. At the age of twelve, I learned I would never make a dime doing either one. I loved listening to the radio and said to myself, "I can do that!" There was no turning back. About ten years ago, I understood the power of video. Words on a page tend to just reinforce a reader's preconceived perception. A picture is very helpful. But with video, the experience can come to life. They also see a product or service in action. A person can get a real sense of what the experience will be like for them. I started filming weddings, baptisms, and special events for churches and friends. Eventually, I moved up to doing promotional videos for a community theater group and started recording classical voice recitals for my son and his classmates. I enjoyed helping them and often got good feedback on the videos. Eventually, my hobby turned into a side business. I love capturing special events, telling stories, and preserving memories.
- What types of customers have you worked with?I have worked with individuals and organizations to help promote upcoming events, tell their story, celebrate milestone birthdays, or even to record their wedding ceremony and celebration. I have worked with families, community theater groups, classical singers, and churches. I have worked with people who've spent their entire life here in New England and those who were born in other lands. I've filmed a Haitian wedding where I only understood every twentieth word. I worked with a couple from Sierra Leone and another couple from Rwanda.
