Introduction: My work is a reflection of the client's desired space. By speaking with, and interacting with my client, we share ideas and insights. The project emerges as a unique personal space which the client helped to create. I love what I do. I enjoy working with color, mixing textures by using fabrics, tiles, woods, etc. All these elements, with good use of space create an attractive, comfortable and functional space. The process is the same for one room, or an entire house. Timing and budget are essential to make for a successful project.

Helen is very talented and really understands how your home should reflect your personality. She's enormously versatile and can work to any budget. She's a pleasure to work with and really listens to you. She was a godsend when I moved into my first apartment with literally nothing but a suitcase and a toothbrush. She took my floorpan, measured each space, talked to me about how I would be using each room and pulled everything together. I still get compliments on her style and how each piece is distinct yet it all comes together so perfectly. Not too formal, not too informal, very comfortable daily living yet ideal for entertaining, too. And when I moved she'd selected the pieces so well that even when I shifted them around to different rooms in different space it all still works. You won't find a better resource than Helen!

Ms Hanan was called in to renovate a tired, old home prior to selling it. She worked well with the contractor / builder and all the vendors. She has an excellent eye for design, color, flow, materials, and a general sense of harmony. I got a higher sales price for my home than I thought I would get after all the renovations, modifications and upgrades were completed..

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
The most important element of a venture between a designer and the client is Chemistry. If you connect , you have a connection that helps you to understand what it is you want, Many of my clients have been repeat clients and a few have become close friends.
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
The most important thing about myself as a designer, is that I love what I do 24/7. It's who I am, not just what I do. I love to create. I am always looking at odd items and transforming them in my mind. A pair of fireplace andirons are destined to be a great pair of lamps soon. Before I did Interior Design I was a clothing designer and traveled to Eurpoe and worked in Asia.
