My 9 year old daughter has been taking guitar lessons with Julie for a year. She has progressed nicely and really enjoys the lessons. The end of the year recital was wonderfully entertaining and a great goal for my daughter to work towards. Julie has been easy to communicate with and I have already recommended her to other mothers.

Amanda patiently guided me through the basics of piano for 2 years. She answered every question calmly and thoughtfully, from the basic "where does my hand go again?" to "who invented the piano?" Every lesson was tailored to my needs and ability. I never felt intimidated by her, and she was always a pleasure to work with. It's cathartic playing piano, since it's another way to connect your mind and body. I highly recommend taking lessons with her! I bet she'd work well with children, too.

I started private guitar lessons with Bob Wolfman a year and a half ago, with the hopes of getting past a guitar playing rut I’d been stuck in for a few years. I felt I had reached a plateau and that I wasn’t progressing much since I switched out of the music program at UMASS Lowell. Within my first few lessons with Bob I was already progressing more than I had with ten years of prior instruction! In my first three months of lessons with Bob, I was very impressed by his ability to simultaneously cater to my direct interests (music theory and improvisation) while exposing me to concepts I didn’t realize I needed to work on to get there (sight-reading, aural skills, chordal arrangements). We quickly set up a lesson plan and goals geared towards getting me where I wanted to be. I was so happy with the results that I eagerly enrolled into his year-long “Apprenticeship Program”. This program allowed us to plan my curriculum and keep me on track (and I had a realistic practice schedule that I could stick with). Last year, I progressed so much that I decided to start my second year in the program. I’m really glad that I did!! One of several things that separates Bob from a lot of other instructors is his focus on his students. He always sticks to his commitment to making me a better guitarist and musician, even if that means giving me extra time when he has it. And with his 30+ years of experience as a teacher, he knows how to personalize my lessons in a way that works for me. I highly recommend him for people just starting out on guitar, bass, etc., or for those like me who just need a kick start to get out of a rut. I am reaching my goals to becoming an accomplished pro guitarist very soon. Tyler Schmitt Apprenticeship Program Guitar student with Bob Wolfman

Jacob is an all around quality individual who clearly has a passion to invest in those he comes in contact with! He is an exceptional and gifted musician and instructor. The students really connect with him and are motivated by his enthusiasm. And on top of it all, the guy can really play that guitar!! Some have a gift to play, some an ability to teach. Jacob has both! One last thing... He's also a genuinely nice guy! I would highly recommend anyone looking for a patient, passionate and exceptional music teacher to learn guitar, bass, piano and even beginner drums to experience a lesson with Jacob for themselves.

Love working with Jonathan! He is a total professional! Always punctual, always prepared for each lesson. Furthermore, he begins teaching with the fundamentals of the guitar. He emphasizes understanding how to hold the guitar, how to use timing ect. He is both an excellent instructor for beginners through full on professional players. I highly recommend Jonathan any any group to have as an instructor..

I began taking voice lessons from Peter Hostage in May and have been highly satisfied with my decision to do so. If you are considering taking music lessons with Mr. Hostage, know that you can expect a high level of professionalism, a relaxed atmosphere, and most importantly, quality musical instruction. As someone who began singing at an early age, I have had the opportunity to sing both individually and as part of numerous groups. In just three weeks Peter has introduced me to technique that I had not been exposed in my 10+ years singing. I am confident that continued lessons with Mr. Hostage will enhance my vocal ability. The lessons are definitely worth the investment!

For the past few years, Joe was paramount in helping me realize my love and potential for music, particularly with the guitar. When I first came to Joe for lessons he was incredibly flexible with scheduling and was very attentive to exploring areas of the guitar that I not only wanted to learn, but that he knew would challenge me to improve my skills and further my understanding of the underlying roots of the music. Joe was always focused during the lessons, making sure I was really picking up on what was being taught for the entirety of the sessions. Often, Joe would follow up with me during the week between sessions to see how my progress was going and to answer any questions I had which proved to be extremely helpful. Overall, my experience with Joe was excellent, his attention to detail regarding the music as well as his great focus on making sure I was truly understanding the lessons made the learning process not only exciting and fun but enormously fruitful. Joe was fun, passionate and worked extremely hard in his role as my guitar teacher and I truly appreciate all the time he spent to help me improve my skills and become closer to my passion for music.

I wanted to learn guitar. I found a teacher that not only taught me the basics , I left knowing how to play my favorite song. Richard Teaches classes out of the Jam Spot 14 Teal Road Wakefield. R&P music owner Richard Papa is a true professional and is a pleasure to have as a teacher. His vast knowledge of music and guitar impressed me so much that I signed on for 1 year of lessons. I love his slogan "Learn today, rock tomorrow." im ready to take on the world and be the next Randy Rhoads and Angus Young!! R&P music : 339-224-8986 rpguitar.net regards Patrick Tibbetts

    About

For many years I have worked with students aging from five years of age, my youngest student to date, to seventy-eight years of age, my oldest student to date. This experience encouraged me to create specific lesson plans that catered to each individual student's needs and level of proficiency on their given instrument be it Electric, Acoustic or Classical guitar, Electric Bass and Mandolin. The obstacles presented from teaching such a wide range of students have always been exciting to undertake and highly rewarding. This experience encouraged me to dive deeper in the psychology of learning and to refine my methods time and again. I find it endlessly intriguing to discover how each individual absorbs and integrates information differently and I love when my methods work across the board.
