Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: My work is ever-evolving, but I believe what makes it unique is that I try to interfere as little as possible to make sure that everything I'm capturing is authentic. I don't want to create a story, I want to tell yours. I absolutely love the opportunity to meet so many different people and get to see the love they have for their family and each other. I get so wrapped up in the stories of my clients. My absolute favorite thing is to come home from a session or wedding and download my images and relive the amazing event I was just able to witness.

Alyssa did both out wedding and a family session with my 2 week old son. She was an absolute pleasure to work with, arrived early and left late on both occasions. She came fully prepared for weather/lighting issues. She capture amazing moments of our wedding day and we felt completely at ease and comfortable in front if her camera. She was great with my 5 year old step son during our family session and understanding of a newborns needs (feeding/changing). Her prices are extremely reasonably and she delivers your finished product in a very timely manner. We have zero complaints and highly recommend her!!

FAQs

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

In April 2011, I came home from class to find my apartment, where I lived with my boyfriend Shea of two years, empty, and an envelope taped to the door. Inside was a photograph of the place we had first met, with directions saying to go there. When I arrived, I found another envelope. I followed each clue, leading me on a tour of all the special places we had shared over the years. At the final location, a gorgeous state park, Shea was waiting for me with a picnic and a gift. The gift was my very first DSLR Camera. He showed me photos he had taken on the camera, and the very last one said: “Alyssa, Will you Marry me?” I said yes, and we were married at that very same park on September 8th, 2012! That camera is what I used to take my very first engagement photos. I photographed my first wedding with it. It’s what inspired me to capture the love stories of other couples and families and create this business.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

I believe it's hugely important to find a photographer that is a good fit for you. Look for someone who has a style that you love, and a personality that you feel will put you at ease in front of the camera.
