Introduction: For over 20 years Goodheart media has been providing professional digital transfers of all types of media, from VHS tape to audio cassettes to film reels and even photos and slides. We serve both local clients as well as customers who ship their materials to us from further distances. All of our work is produced in-house using professional level equipment. We also bring over 30 years of experience in television, video, and media to every project. We offer free estimates, bulk discounts, and fast turnaround times. Most jobs are completed in a week or less. Because we interact with each customer, we can have detailed discussions about what they need and what options might be best for them when utilizing our services. We love the interaction with customers as well as the satisfaction of providing a unique service.

Marc created a gorgeous video representing the entirety of my father's life. He did a beautiful job scanning over 60 photographs, integrating them with another 50 digital photos, and setting all the photos to music with subtle and beautiful transition from photo to photo, creating a 12 min long video that our family will cherish. He turned the job around in less than 48 hours. He is professional and and an exceptional value. I will use Goodheart Media Services again!

Goodheart Media Services was able to convert 9 VHS tapes in a few days on to a small thumb drive. After reviewing all of the converted footage I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the converted video. What helped me make the decision to choose Goodheart Media is the fact that they are an established business with a level of friendly professionalism that made me feel comfortable leaving all of my family's Memories to them. For you technical junkies, when you walk into the place you see an entire wall of the equipment that Goodheart Media uses to convert media from one format to another. It's kinda cool.

I had our wedding video converted from vhs to dvd. They were quick and only charged $15. The quality of the video is less than I had expected, considering I gave them the original master.

After speaking with Linda we found out her concern over quality was about the original tape and not our transfer. in this era of high definition video we often forget how limited the quality of analog VHS was, especially when viewed on modern day 50"-60" screens.

FAQs

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
All pricing is available on our web site. For most items there is a per unit charge regardless of the length. This is true for items such as video tapes, audio cassettes, reel to reel tapes, photos, etc. Movie film reels are charged by the foot, so there is a direct correlation between the amount of time and the price. On most services we offer discounts for quantities of items over a certain amount. For example, video tape to digital transfers are $17 a piece for the first 10 units, but starting with the 11th tape the price drops to $16 for the next 10, and so forth. The price bottoms out at $9 per tape. Other formats have similar discounts built in.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First we determine what type of media the customer has, then discuss options with them regarding what the end product(s) will be. We then provide a price quote and approximate timeline for them based on the size of their project.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We have Bachelor of Science Degrees in Video Production/Communications. We constantly upgrade our computers hardware and software as well as subscribe to a variety of industry trade publications.
