Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: Asphalt driveways and parking lots are only as good as the base they are installed on. You can install a foot of asphalt on an unstable sub base and it can crack just as easily as a 3 to 4 inch install. The KEY factor is preparation, you MUST remove the soft, unwanted earth; such as loam, sand, grass and clay. That's why it's VERY IMPORTANT, (SO THAT YOU WILL OBTAIN MAXIMUM LONGEVITY AND VALUE FROM YOUR NEW PAVEMENT) to install the proper gravel base. A minimum of 6 inches of new, virgin aggregate is BEST to use! Second to that would be crushed concrete. Although R.A.P (Recycled Asphalt Product) can be a good sub base to use when recycled properly, only a few companies recycle it properly, shaking the dirt, grass and other unwanted material from it and leaving just the asphalt aggregate to crush and process. (versus crushing it as a whole with the unwanted materials in it that GREATLY REDUCE THE LONGEVITY to produce a strong, long lasting, acceptable sub base.) The down fall of the added step in this process THE COST! In many cases for right around the same money, WWW.TCSPAVING.COM when ever available can and WILL purchase virgin, aggregate sub base processed gravel. Next the Asphalt itself can come in different formulas a handful of asphalt plants left in the USA make 100% new asphalt, We here at www.tcspaving.com buy it whenever we are able to! The majority of asphalt plants are using R.A.P (as described earlier the R.A.P used in the new asphalt is shaken first of all unwanted earth then recycled for use in the new asphalt) Up to 15 % of r.a.p can be used in the new asphalt although we here at www.tcspaving.com believe that the ideal amount to use Is 10%. which some plants use only that amount so when ever we can we use 100% new asphalt and if that's not Available, new asphalt with a 10% mix of R.A.P will be used. Using new asphalt with R.A.P in it requires heavier compacting equipment to obtain proper compaction vs using 100% new asphalt. So it is imperative that the paving contractor you choose have the correct compacting equipment to handle both formulas of new asphalt. Meeting new people and the feel of accomplishment on a job well Done

I can't really say how they did as I was never contacted back. So my three stars isn't a rating. I just don't want to penalize someone who might be new to this system. I have not followed up due to other reasons at this time.

Marc and his crew did a great job. Driveway looks great and they took their time taping, burning out the grass and blowing all debris before sealing. Wo

TCS came and measured my driveway and actually gave me a price less than quoted as the area to be paved was smaller than expected. Their crew was polite and professional and had the job done and cleaned up in less time than I expected. They did a great job and I'd recommend them to anyone looking for a great job at a fair price.

Marc and his guys were great! I added another two cars to my driveway, and they were able to dig it, and lay it with ease. They even took out a monster tree stump, which was completly unexpected. Excellent experince, driveway looks great! Highly recomend!
