Marty came to fix a sizeable hole in our drywall and rehang a tv on the wall. He did a great job, was very friendly but quick and to the point. He did a fast but thorough job and the tv is now back up on the wall ( hung correctly in the stud ) and is working great!
We had gutter repair done on our home. Todd was extremely professional with punctual outstanding service, both in quoting and completing our project. We had damage from a storm that took an entire gutter down on a large portion of our home in the yard that required extensive repair, including wood, gutter, fascia, amongst other materials. Todd also pointed out areas we lost facing on our home that we did not even notice. After receiving several quotes, Payless Gutter, LLC came in approximately $250.00 less than other quotes and adhered to his price upon completion of the job. I would highly recommend using this company. The job was completed on the day he said it would be done and in an extremely timely manner.
I have had Fittin Construction complete several home improvement projects at our home. They have put in hardwood flooring in my kitchen as well as install floorboards throughout our entire attic. They then installed extra closet space for us up there. We then used them to install all new windows in our home (a total of 15). All work was done in a professional and timely manner. Workers were punctual, knowledgeable , and friendly too! When there is anything we need in the future Tom Fittin will be called! I would highly recommend Fittin Construction.
Job was too paint garage and make it like an interior room. Along the way my wife changed the paint, shortened lead time to start, but none of this ruffled Jon's feathers. He was on time, easy to find, quick to reply, and he was reasonably priced. Job was well done. I will certainly have Jonathan back soon. Highly recommended, honest, and fair. What more can you ask!
I wanted a dining table that would match the nature and vibe of my townhouse apartment- a renovated space in an old factory building. I have exposed brick and concrete walls, steel ducts, piping and distressed wooden floors. I envisioned a table that had a combination of styles but I did not know exactly which way to go so I sent pictures and the dimensions of the intended space for the table. Bruce listened and gave creative feedback patiently and professionally. I felt comfortable throughout the entire process and totally trusted his judgement. He created a table with a salvaged frame, new plywood surface and steel hairpin legs. He "aged and distressed" the plywood in a way that captured all elements of my living space without going over-board. I could not believe the finished product. It's a beautiful! Bruce even offered creative suggestions for seating and helped me to decide on a bench that works perfectly with the table. I love my table and am proud to have a custom "Nevad" piece. I highly recommend Bruce and intend to hire him again and again as I continue to decorate and furnish my home.
I have a 6-story facade that had cracked, as a result of hurricane sandy, the roof had leaked, getting into the house and damaging everything. Water dripped from the gutter seeped into the walls and caused heavy damages. The walls were damaged with mold getting inside, with peeling paint from the facade. We needed to re-do the brownstone and fix all the damages. within many quotes, high tech was within my budget. Up and foremost, the roof was re-layered to prevent any more damages. The facade was chipped off (about 2 inches) from the wall applied portland cement and scratch coat. There were many details missing from the window sills and facade that High tech handcrafted and restored. Shaiful explained to me that it would be best if the cornice would be painted, and restored with all details and design before applying the final-coat brownstone. He stated for best results the facade should dry and cure, the longer the drying process the optimal the results. After the drying process, they did the final-coat, the cornice looked great, and all the designs were handcurved. The walls, inside of the house, the sheet-trock was removed, patched, and new insulation placed with new sheetrock. With such a major project on-going, I had a wonderful experience!
Brick and cement step repair. Carlos quoted a price that was the most reasonable for materials and labor. He obtained all the necessary materials and began the work as soon as I accepted his quote. He removed all the old broken cement and replaced it with new. He was very thorough and removed all the debris from the project. He took many photos of the work in progress as I was out of town. He gave the cement time to dry and cure. He then returned to check that all went correctly with the job. I would be quick to hire Mura Construction again for my home repair needs.
Elton did an excellent job repairing my gutters and the under hang siding under the roof fascia.
I own a landmark brownstone in the Boerum Hill neighborhood of Brooklyn. Adam Silver has done work for me at various times during the past several months. His work is excellent. He has restored and repaired the iron work on the window gates, fence and bannister in the front of my house and completely renovated the ground-level vestibule. He made improvements that other contractors said they could not do, i.e. he was able to take off the heavy layer of cement that had covered the ceiling and walls of the vestibule exposing the original brick and blue stone. He also took off the cement on the side of the staircase exposing the original brick, cemented the crawl space, and expertly sanded and painted the inner door and frame. Oh, what a difference! I couldn't be happier. Adam is not only affordable but he is a perfectionist about his work, always responsible wanting to please and very easy to deal with. I would highly recommend Silverworks.
