I have attended Dave's yoga, breath, water& sound class for more than a year and I have received so much benefit from it. His class is very calming and meditative. Every time I attend I leave so relaxed and able to better sleep and put things in perspective. His voice is very relaxing and the atmosphere is conductive for the class. My stress level has leveled off but more importantly my high blood pressure has dropped significantly. I have to attribute it to this class and the encouragement from Dave to practice at home. Nothing else worked.
I attended the winter 2011 weekend yoga retreat at the Congress Hotel. It was calming, informative, and fun. Sharon is an excellent, inspirational teacher. I hope to attend the 2012 retreat.
I had the immense pleasure of taking one of Annie's classes recently. I can honestly say it was the best class I've ever taken. Never once did I feel judged or self conscious, which I am very prone to feel. It was a new experience for me, one in which I wish to repeat as often as possible in the future. Annie's easy demeanor and polite instruction will guide you through your yoga journey effortlessly. She makes it so simple to look inside yourself and discover nuances within. Annie's presence is subtle, yet immediate enough to make you push yourself through the more difficult poses and come through the other side feeling accomplished and proud. Her gentle encouragement was more motivating than the usual internal nagging of my own brain which was silenced at the beginning of class by Annie's guidance. I will 100% be returning to Annie's classes as often as possible.
