Nicolette was extremely helpful in setting me up professionally, while accommodating my 3 broken ribs. Nicolette has a very pleasant disposition and was a pleasure to work with.

FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I love to get to know my clients. I find the best way to do this is with a phone call or in-person consultation depending on the type of event or session being booked. I always send out a questionnaire before the session so I know what their preferences are and what to expect in the session.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I receive a BFA degree from Montclair State University with a focus in photography. I also attended Florence University of the Arts to study fashion photography. After a year of interning for Kate Ryan Inc. which allowed me the opportunity to work with fashion photographer Sarah Silver, I went to work on cruise ships for Holland America Line. I worked as a Black Label Artist, a private portrait studio experience for guests for 3 years on-board this cruise line. Now being back on land I primarily focus on portraiture, events and weddings.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?I originally went to school to study painting until one day my painting professor asked me why I always base my paintings off of photographs, why isn’t the photograph enough? At the time I thought of photography as a tool, not as art. Soon I realized I was able to manipulate the photos and lighting using photography and accomplish things I was never able to in painting. It fascinated me and I continue to learn, strive in my creativity, every time I shoot.
