My fiance and I went on thumbtack, looking for a personal chef to do our wedding. Of all the chefs who responded to us we were immediately impressed with how professional and thorough Tony was. Whereas others who contacted us simply gave us a price range based on our number of guests, Tony supplied us with some examples of menus from previous clients, but also assured us that what he would prepare for us would be specifically customized to meet our needs. He came to our home for an initial consultation, and we immediately hit it off. He was personable and professional. We discussed the menu as well as the logistics; including a tent, tables and chairs, dinnerware, and decorative flowers. We were relieved when he told us that he would take care of all of those things if we wanted, and he did, except for the flowers. (Although he did supply flowers for the tables and even offered to find someone to perform the ceremony) The affair was to be an intimate dinner with seventeen guests and we planned to have our wedding at home in the garden. We decided where the food would be prepared as well as the dining and serving tables. The menu we agreed upon was eclectic, with an international theme. It would consist of a five course dinner with a wine pairing with each course, and a cocktail hour before the first course. From the start, we loved how it sounded and we were eagerly anticipating seeing and tasting everything. Incidentally, he also made another trip to our home weeks later when we were having second thoughts about how to set everything up. The day of the wedding Tony and his staff arrived promptly. The rental tables, chairs and dinnerware had arrived the previous afternoon. After the ceremony and some photo taking was the cocktail hour. The hors d'oeuvres were all delicious and beautifully presented, and so were each of the five courses to follow. The staff was professional and courteous and their appearances were tasteful. The table settings were elegant, and exactly what we had wanted. The quality and freshness of the food was outstanding. The third course, grilled Pacific salmon and pan seared Chilean sea bass, drizzled with a strawberry citrus sauce was one of the most delicious dishes I ever had in my fife, and the salmon was grilled absolutely perfectly. If I had to find something less than desirable, I would say that there was one server who most guests agreed was not very friendly but she may have just been nervous. As for the food, there was an Australian grilled boneless leg of lamb which was a little overcooked for my wife and my tastes, but our guests had no complaints. However in all honesty, to find negative aspects of the entire experience I'm reaching somewhat, as the overall experience was simply amazing and all the things we loved about it far outweigh the aforementioned mild disappointments. It exceeded our already hopeful expectations. Furthermore, the price was definitely reasonable. When one of our guests inquired about the cost per plate (not including rentals) he was astounded that it did not cost much more. Finally, all of our guests raved about the day to no end and many of them said it was the most elegant wedding they had ever attended. I'm quite certain some of them will be contacting Tony for an event of their own.
Literally could not have pulled off our wedding day without Cristina. She made our day run smoothly and fabulously. She had incredible ideas and thoughts on everything and was so so easy to work with.
Shonta was the Wedding Planner and Florist for my daughters' wedding and she did an amazing job. She has great creativity and is wonderful to work with. She has also worked on other big events with us and can be counted to execute and deliver.

We hired Denise as our day of coordinator, and we are so thankful that we did! We stayed in touch leading up to the big day, including meeting with the staff of the venue weeks beforehand to see the space and confirm the layout of decorations, etc. She handled everything on the day of the wedding so we could just relax and enjoy being with our friends and family. What small issues did come up she handled on the fly and with minimal intrusion. It is definitely worth hiring Brilliant Affairs to manage your event; their support beforehand and on the day of cannot be over-emphasized. We highly recommend their services!
I love how Stephanie and her team took my design and vision and executed it wonderfully. And she also injected her ideas which worked well with my design. They set it all up and broke it down which proved to be a lifesaver. I am such a Type A, "need to control" everything kind of person who does party planning myself, but I felt comfortable releasing the reins to Stephanie on my wedding day. She even came to my rehearsal and helped with ideas. She even spruced up the bathroom for guests which was a nice touch. I would definitely recommend Everything is an Event and I would definitely use their services again. The only thing I would say is that the flow of events were a little off. There were a few people in the wedding party that felt that Stephanie could have been a little more hands on with controlling certain things instead of just responding to issues. Also, when the items such as linens, centerpieces, candles, etc. were broken down, they were just placed in any of the storage containers instead of the way they came to the venue. The only issue with that is re-packing everything for storage. But it is a minor thing. Overall, like I said, it was great working with Stephanie and her team and I would definitely use their services again. THANKS STEPHANIE AND EVERYTHING IS AN EVENT!!!
DJ Leo once again was incredible. He has been the DJ for multiple family functions over the past few years and has exceeded expectations every time. My wedding was no different! My friends talked for weeks about how excited they were to dance and the DJ didn’t disappoint. We used his services at both the ceremony and reception site. He had both venues set up on time. Did his role perfectly (playing entrance and exit songs for ceremony, announcements, and specials requests). He played all the music we wanted him to play. He had EVERYONE dancing. I never seen some of my family members dance so much. DJ Leo was professional, friendly, and high quality. I would highly recommended him.
Tina and Erica are angels sent from heaven. They were professional, attentive, basically magicians at times and helped me pull off the wedding of my dreams during one of the toughest times in our lives. My father-in-law passed away from cancer one week before our wedding and ATP stepped right in and caught the ball that we would have dropped. My wedding was perfect and it was all due to ATP Events. I honestly don't know what we would have done without them.
We were celebrating our wedding anniversary. I loved that Ronda got back to me right away, was able to adjust the menu to our liking and accommodate a fairly short turn around. She and Maurice were right on time, the meal was delicious and served with a wonderful attitude. All in all, we couldn't have been more pleased.
Testimonial for Rachael Before I met Rachael, I was entirely unaware of how impactful and life-changing a wedding planner could be. Perhaps it is because Rachael is 1000 times more than simply a “wedding planner.” With over 10 years of experience in the field, Rachael essentially eliminated approximately 99% of the stress that goes into planning a wedding by taking one multiple roles: a liaison between our vendors, a magician with saving us money, a therapist when I needed someone to talk to, a genie by making my dream wedding a reality, and, most importantly, a true friend and unyielding cheerleader for us. The only bad thing about getting married has been not having a reason to talk to Rachael nearly everyday, since she WILL be there for you EVERY day, day or night, and is probably the most punctual and giving person I have ever met. However, her value does not end with simply being nice. She is incredibly smart and meticulous, knowing the details of our wedding even better than my fiancé or I did, and making sure that our vision for what we wanted was realized. She is undoubtedly the Olivia Pope of wedding planners which, for everyone who hasn’t seen Scandal, means that she could work on a presidential level of wedding planning, can organize your life better than anyone and will take care of all of the dirty work too! To be called the Olivia Pope of anything is an extremely difficult level to reach, since this fictional character is unrealistically perfect at everything she does, but Rachael has earned that title without a doubt. I would hire her for anything. One of the best things about her is she’s great at everything wedding-related too! From going to Sephora with me to help me pick out makeup for the big day, to capturing some of the most special moments from my wedding on her iPhone, to even driving an hour to Delaware in rush hour traffic to help me pick out the perfect amount of alcohol to be served at our wedding, Rachael truly does it all. She is way more than simply your wedding planner. She becomes your biggest fan, an incredible friend, and, on the big day, the most reliable person in the room. No one made us feel more comfortable than Rachael on our wedding day, which just goes to show how important she was to the entire event. Our wedding was perfect, thanks to Rachael. I don’t see how we could have pulled it off without her. Anyone who works with Rachael should consider themselves lucky, because this girl is going places! So if you’re able to book her, do it while you can! I really think she could be running our country someday (hopefully someday soon!) It was a pleasure working with Lamide. We had her on-board as our wedding day coordinator. My first priority was to be able to relax and enjoy as much as possible on the wedding day. There isn't anyway that is possible without a good coordinator. The work/ tasks/ demands involved, can be too much to ask for a friend to keep up and do. Lamide was prompt with responses throughout the process leading up to the big day. She tighten up knots that needed tightening; she made sure what you wanted accomplished will be met on the day. For example, I had a mini-polariod booth for guests and there were not many who were aware of it and had taken advantage of it during cocktail hour. Without our awareness of it, she made a point of communicating with the DJ to make an announcement about it to the guests and our photographer got busy! We are grateful and glad we had her. If you're looking for someone to make sure things are done and that those knots are tight, please hire Lamide.

Hiring Cody for my wedding day-of coordinating and set-up was the best thing I could have done. Even though we didn’t meet face-to-face until the day, we spent plenty of time talking on the phone, emailing, and even texting (last minute weather crisis day before). I 100% trusted her judgement, decisions, and opinions when it came to my set-up. Even though we got married in Chester County, PA, she was willing to travel. In addition to her professional attitude and overall sweet and helpful outlook, she had to put up with a Type A, obsessively organized bride! I shared a Google Doc with her of all the things that had to get done on the day of, where I wanted things, and descriptions of what my vision entailed, down to how I wanted the cocktail tables set up. Cody never batted an eye (even though many of my friends and family called me slightly insane), and she wasn’t offended that I was so hands-on, even though I wasn’t going to be the one setting up. The Thursday before my Saturday weather, the weather really decided to get nasty and wet, so I ended up texting her at 7:30 in the morning freaking out about not having an indoor ceremony decor plan. Not only did she send me screenshots of stuff she thought I might like/buy/make, but as it turned out, she Amazon primed all the materials to her house and built a ceremony backdrop that I loved, including twinkling lights! My DJ also provided a day-of coordinator, and there weren’t any “power struggles” (that I’m aware of!) like you hear if you hire your own vendors. Cody did a phenomenal job setting up everything in the span of time she had. I’m so grateful I found her and decide to contract her services! I hired Deserve Your Time to help out with my wedding planning. The consultant I worked with was extremely accommodating and supportive throughout the whole process. I tend to stress easily so I was immediately put at ease once I realized that Deserve Your Time had everything under control. The consultant assisted with almost every step of the planning process, from putting together guests addresses for the invitations to decorations the day of the wedding. Having Wes officiate our wedding was the easiest and best decision we made for our wedding. My husband and I weren’t quite sure how the ceremony was supposed to flow and Wes provided his recommendations and shared his past experiences. During our meetings, he helped us understand the overall layout and select readings. He worked closely with our good friend to break up the ceremony into the “official” parts and the heartfelt readings/commentary. On the big day he had the room of our family and friends laughing and crying - they all RAVED about him and kept saying it was the best ceremony they have sat through. From start to finish, it was the perfect experience. We just loved having our wedding planned by Larissa. Every time we went for pre-wedding meetings, we were treated so kindly and she went out of her way each time to make us feel happy and at-ease. The wedding reception itself was just perfect (she sourced the venue for us). It was our dream come true. The reception was decorated perfectly and just how we wanted. The setting was beautiful, with amazing places in and around the venue for pictures. We received so many compliments about the food and drinks, as well as the setting, and organization by Larissa. We are thankful to her for all she did for us.

The arrangements for my shower were fabulous and she used white pumpkins instead of vases for the centerpieces which was a creative surprise! I received numerous compliments on them. For my wedding, she took time and attention to make sure that she was matching the colors, motif and incorporating my favorite flowers to my bouquet and the centerpieces. Her suggestions to enhance the ideas that I had were helpful and elevated what I had envisioned. She even incorporated a photo of my grandmother on my bridal bouquet that I wanted to carry with me on my wedding day. She was prompt and organized in dropping off the flowers before the ceremony and preparing the reception venue on the day of. In addition to her knowledge of flowers, her fun and down to earth personality make her very easy to work with and put your mind at ease during a stressful time of wedding planning.
