"I had the pleasure of working with Lauren Curtis on several books for children. Our latest project "Sam the Super Dog" has been donated to more than 2000 children through Hospitals with financial support from LEGO's founder, Ole Kirk Foundation. Lauren is an amazing artist but also very collaborative and understanding of her clients wishes. She does so much more than expected. I look forward to working with Lauren in the future and give her my warmest recommendation." Susan Binau, Published Author and Global Philanthropist

Who says artists are difficult to work with? Everyone. Lol. But this gent, however, proves to be the exception. Not only is he personable and very clear about his business, he is talented beyond belief. He was contracted at the "last minute", and delivered the final product ahead of schedule! No editing needed... he took the vision we were striving to bring to life and accomplished it out of the gate. Praises all around. -M Kayana Lewis - Founding Member of the State of Black Science Fiction & Exec. Asst. of the Center for Balck Lit. at Medgar Evers College, CUNY

Joshuas art is eye-catching and inspiring. I am a fan of his work and was overjoyed when we were able to commission him. Joshua took the ideas and hopes we had and was able to turn them into a beautiful family portrait. Joshua captured each member of our family in an abstract, but profoundly specific way. When Joshua finished our piece he delivered and installed it and helped us rearrange our other art to maximize our wall space. We are happy to own a Benson and look forward to owning more in the future.

I cannot say enough about how much I LOVE Farmhaus Studios. The talent of Steve DeBeus is incredible and the work quality, professionalism and responsiveness of the Studio is top notch. I found the price for the work more than reasonable as well. I will never use another illustrator. Farmhaus Studios brought my project to life and that's tough to beat. Trust me, you do not need to look any further for your illustration and design needs.

Alejandro is a marvel. He took some vague sketches and concepts I have for a feature film and fleshed them out into full-fledged designs that really sell my movie the way I envisioned it. He has an excellent sense of composition, what draws viewers into a shot, and throughout the process of a piece -from initial sketches to fine-tuning final color- he's always looking for new details or ways to make it more dynamic. He works hard to really invest himself in his work, and that shows. You will not find someone easier or more ideal to work with on a project!

About

Elizabeth Perez grew up in New York with a strong passion for art and design. Elizabeth attends the Fashion Institute of Technology with a major in Fashion Illustration as she hopes to further her passion for the art and design industry. She is also a makeup artist, designer, imaginator, and an individual. Her work varies from cute to crazy and sometimes exaggerated. She likes to focus on fun characters, beauty, fashion, and details. Her illustrations focus on the idea that it is great to be different, and as an individual, one must embrace those differences. Elizabeth is an aspiring artist interested in many different media but mostly works with Photoshop and Illustrator. Elizabeth likes to be in her own world full of ideas and gets inspired by everyday life. Her ideas and inspiration comes from random things; some of her inspiration comes from bright radiant colors, fun prints, gems, video games, Tokyo culture, industrial fashion, and of course, New York, where she is surrounded by the strangest things that inspire her.

I use this in conjunction with a work ethic honed by my background in multimedia and corporate work, where communication, dilligence, and understanding a project's core concepts are as crucial as artistic ability.
