Even though I've only been working with Mr. Amorosa for two weeks now I can honestly say I'm happy that I switched vocal coaches. He takes his time to find where your vocal range lies on the piano. He makes singing infront of him extremely comfortable (coming from someone who hates singing infront of people) he works at a pace suitible for you and most of all he does not get annoyed if you can't manage out the note. In our lessons we play with notes where we would find little loops to add, what words should be exaggerated, the ashyness of the voice. I actually have a lot of fun. I do recommend him if your are seeking for a vocal coach! I'm glad I found him! Plus he's super cheap ! You can't go wrong !!

"My two sons, ages 10 and 7, have been playing piano with Jonathan Segal for over 5 and 2 years, respectively. I chose "playing" and not "taking lessons," very consciously, because Jonathan's jazzy, improvisational, and playful teaching style has made the lessons more like creative play and a labor of love than lessons for my boys. They are both progressing and mastering the basics, including ear training, sight reading, and theory, but also delight in composing music with him often. Jonathan's sense of humor, with its whimsy and sense of fun, is a riff of its own, just like his music. That is why my older son asked him 'Why can't I live with you?' " Donna G.

I really like my experience with Daan. He is definitely a good fit for me as a guitar teacher. He's incredibly knowledgable and has helped me set realistic goals to get the most of my practice time between lessons. I really appreciate that he knows how to push me to do better. On top of that, he's able to work with me on wide array of genres besides jazz. He's also been able to answer any question I have and has been very available by email. I'd definitely recommend him.

My daughter had the pleasure of taking voice lessons from Lucy Horton over the summer of 2014, in Bellevue, Washington. From the start, Lucy was well prepared and gave us thoughtful information to maximize our experience. I was impressed by her professionalism, and charmed by her ability to relate to both parent and teen. My daughter enjoyed learning many techniques of singing from this talented teacher, knowing that Lucy herself is a professional vocalist. I'm sure my daughter saw that Lucy's reality (creating a life around her passion for singing) could one day be the realization of her own dreams. Were it not for Lucy's move to the East Coast, we would continue with lessons indefinitely. Lucy is a lovely person to work with and we envy those who will now have that opportunity!

Abbi is AMAZING! I was a first timer for yoga and Abbi made me feel so comfortable and at ease with it. She has a way of knowing what my body needs and delivers every time. I love the special attention i get from private lessons. I always feel so much better after an Abbi visit!
