I'm so happy that I chose to learn CPR, AED, and First Aid lessons from Ricardo Camacho Jr. He was very professional through out the whole lesson. For every single question my friend and I asked he had a answer to all of them. I felt very comfortable in the space where we learned everything. The videos that we watched was a lot of fun to watch, I never felt bored at all, I was very intrigued and interested in all of the videos we watched. I highly recommend everyone to take him. Thank you Ricardo.
David's awesome! very knowledgable , friendly and a truly inspiring teacher. Unfortunately, I don't have time to commit to voice lessons right now, but once I do I most certainly will call David!
After years of being self-taught, I realized I wanted to take the next step and truly learn the instrument the right way. In just a month with Dom, it is clear that I chose the perfect teacher. His knowledge of guitar and experience in teaching has you learning to read sheet music and playing songs in just a few lessons. More importantly, Dom is encouraging and enthusiastic which inspires confidence in his students. He is patient, but continues to push you out of your comfort zone. It is clear that Dom cares deeply about the success of his students and I have developed a personal relationship that has me looking forward to the next lesson.
Gloria has been such a great tutor. She has truly been a blessing! Gloria created lessons based on my needs, tailoring each class around what I wanted out of the class. She's patient, encouraging and pleasant to learn from. We formed a nice bond and I always look forward to our lessons. I began with no Spanish skills and in just a few months I feel like an intermediate. All I have is rave reviews and highly recommend her as a Spanish tutor!!
Rae is an extraordinary person, with a beautiful voice. I've only had a few lessons, but my confidence has grown and I'm beginning to hit notes I never believed I could. Looking forward to my next lesson!
David is a fantastic teacher. I came to him with a difficult task. I had to learn how to play guitar well for a performance, with 2 weeks to prepare. I had no previous guitar experience. He not only taught me patiently, he also helped me put together compositions for the show. He truly went above and beyond as a teacher. He is extremely attentive and very adaptable to what you want as a student. I liked him so much I continued with lessons after the show!
Serge went out of his way to meet me earlier than usual. He was both professional and friendly. Informative and patient. He cares! In our first lesson I learned so much. He covered the basics along with a few moves. Serge is the real thing. I can comfortably recommend him.
I have never taken singing lessons before. With just a couple of lessons with Mara I have noticed a tremendous change in my vocals. I am able to reach notes that I did not know existed for me, I am in better control of my breathing, my phrasing is better and overall became more confident in my singing ability. Thanks Mara!
I only had the pleasure of working with Pamela for a short period of time - but boy am I glad I did. I could really hear some major improvement in my voice after only a few lessons. The next time I'll come back I'll definitively make sure to contact Pamela! Thank you :)
Michelle has been working with my daughter weekly since early August. We couldn't be happier! Since her first lesson, Michelle has made my 10 year old feel comfortable and confident. Our daughter has been inspired by her lessons and literally doesn't stop practicing singing and keyboard. We have already recommended Michelle to other parents in our community.
Just for background information, I took lessons with Christine for about 4 years throughout high school with a focus in classical voice. I currently still study voice in college and I can honestly say I have the most helpful foundation I could have ever asked for for that. Christine instills a very strong vocal foundation both artistically and technically. She doesn't dumb anything down, but is absolutely understandable even for beginners. She is also incredibly knowledgeable as a musician, which is enormously helpful because with each new piece she adds to your repertoire, she also builds theoretical and artistic knowledge which helps you be able to perform other pieces later on. So I went into a lot of later repertoire having a solid understanding of the purpose and context of the music I was singing. Also, she never loses sight of the artistic aspects of singing, never letting pronunciation, oddly placed breaths, facial expressions, body language, misunderstanding of text, etc, slide. This seems kind of standard, but it's actually a really professional way of treating your students and made me personally, approach my music with as much professionalism as I had developed. I also found it extremely helpful that she explained why she did asked me to do certain things or ignore other things because, especially for beginners, classical training can seem like a black box and occasionally feels like it's taking you backwards. Having those explanations assuaged a lot of that fear. In my experience, I felt a lot of changes both explicitly and implicitly. I felt my voice grow, in range and strength, and my technical foundation and knowledge are both fairly solid. I stopped fidgeting and found a tremendously improved focus and composure while performing (a big problem for me). My Italian pronunciation is actually quite good now. My ear and internal tempo are both MUCH better. My theoretical knowledge is a lot more in depth than it was, (kind of a bonus because that's not her job). And my contextual knowledge of music is also at a much higher level than it would have been otherwise. Overall, Christine is a really talented teacher and musician who provides a lot of understandable but high level information, impeccable and PRECISE technique, and an artistic but academic approach to music and singing which lays a perfect philosophy in her students for continuing to grow as musicians.
Francis is very professional. His piano lessons are very tailored and engaging. I would highly recommend.
I've been taking private Spanish lessons with Laura for 3 months and I can't recommend her enough. She is professional, funny and flexible. Our sessions are tailored to my interests, and she truly understands languages and how to teach them effectively. I recently went on a trip to Cuba and could tell a major improvement in my Spanish after only taking lessons with her for a short time. Thank you, Laura :)
Mr. Sean is an excellent music teacher. My son had been learning piano with Mr. Sean for almost a year now and he loved the lessons. I find the teaching style to be very effective and well balanced. Mr. Sean pays close attention to details such as fingering and dynamics of the music. He also encourages my son to play from memory which was a huge step up for him. He also improves on sight reading and music theory. We've gained so much and thank you.
Josh is a great teacher. In the several weeks I've been taking lessons with him, I've already seen a huge improvement in my playing ability. Josh is fun to work with and great at explaining things. He even managed to fix most of my bad habits--stuff I'd been doing wrong for years--within the first couple of weeks. Highly recommended.
Dave has been a wonderful teacher! I am a novice pianist and the lessons and homework assignments are tailored for my ability and progression. I never feel like I am being expected to do more than I am capable of. Dave is also a pleasant person to speak with, which is an added bonus, and extremely knowledgeable! I would recommend people of all ages and skill levels take lessons from him. Thank you Dave!
I'm really learning a lot with Viky. She has the fundamentals down and is able to teach them. I'm really enjoying the lessons
Floris has been my teacher for two years. I have gone from being an absolute beginner to being a musician able to hear and play songs just by listening, improvising and even composing my own pieces! He is always courteous and very easy to work with both in and outside of lessons.
I worked with Oriana as a beginner interested in learning how to play classical piano. She made learning super fun and engaging, and was a joy to be around. She keeps your goals in mind and if there's a particular piece you really want to learn, she'll make sure that gets worked into lessons. Unfortunately had to move out of the city so I had to stop taking lessons with Oriana, but could not recommend her more highly to anyone looking to learn how to play!
Very much enjoy working with Drew. He's done an amazing job of planning lessons around my interests/level. He's very professional and patient to boot.
I started taking ukulele lessons from Gracie Terzian. She is fabulous. I'm an older student, and I mean older, and she is moving me along at my own pace. I'm having so much fun and learning at the same time. I look forward to every lesson. I can't say enough positive things about Gracie!!!
