We worked with Katherine Fonsella from DeCicco events and cuisine and she was WONDERFUL. We were planning a pre-wedding dinner for about 100 people in the Tarrytown area, but we live in Northern California. We did not know any venues or caterers or suppliers. Katherine helped us find a great, unusual loft venue, arranged all the decor, tables, lighting, and set up the catering from DeCiccos. The staff were excellent, the food was very good, everything went off perfectly. We are so appreciative of all that Katherine did to make our event wonderful!
Let me just start off by saying Peter and his team are AMAZING!! My Fiancé and I were planning our wedding shower that just happened over the weekend and completely forgot about a bartender! We came across Peter's profile, and hired him on the spot because of the other reviews we read. Within minutes we started communicating and quickly put together a cocktail menu, which all were so delicious! Peter was so professional and was on top of everything even with the short notice. Because of his experience he knew what extra things were needed for a crowd of 200 people and gave me a shopping list, so that took my stress level down a couple notches. I will most definitely be hiring Peter again for any other parties/occasions in the future! If you are in need of a bartender, Peter is the person to go to! Trust me you will not be disappointed!
We feel very luck to have found such a great planner for our wedding. Anastasiya was flexible with working with us based on our needs and was very professional in working with us and the other vendors we hired. She was easily reachable and would keep me and my husband on track to make sure we made decisions in a timely manner. She was also adaptable and able to handle the details of a Hindu ceremony, and worked with my family to get everything right. The decor and flow of the wedding were perfect, and everything really went better than I imagined. She and her team were a pleasure to work with!
Chef Dave was a pleasure to work with. He had a huge assortment of menu items to choose from and all of the ones we picked for our cocktail hour were delicious. He was very responsive and professional. He worked with us to make sure we got all we needed and that everything was set and ready to go on our big day. His work definitely helped to alleviate some of the stress of wedding planning. My only regret is that we didn't book him for our reception as well. We were doing a traditional Chinese wedding and the second venue already had their own catering. Otherwise, I'm sure Chef Dave would've also aced it there. Highly recommend.
Positivity, professionalism, honesty and diligence: the four qualities I looked for when interviewing wedding planners in June. Deepti is extraordinary and surpasses all expectations. We cannot recommend her highly enough! We are a same-sex couple who had a Hindu Indian wedding weekend. Deepti helped us plan everything for our wedding and reception at 501 Union in Brooklyn. We had so many specialized vendors (henna artist, dhol player, mandap builder) as well as the typical vendors (caterer, decorator, DJ, rental company). Deepti is highly organized with a google spreadsheet accessible to all that made the details clear. And she stayed on top of us to read it, update it and to give feedback on our decision making process. One of Deepti's best qualities is her grace under pressure. She speaks warmly and professionally—even when the brides are stressed and when there were unexpected vendor challenges. When the wedding planning felt overwhelming, Deepti was there to lend clarity and calmness. Our wedding was seamless. From the baraat, to our wedding entrance, to the cocktail hour and reception. Everything ran on time because of Deepti's diligence and professionalism. We were more confident because of her honesty. I recently hired Ultimate Affairs Event Planners for my 30th Birthday party on April 30th, 2016. I needed a bartender and two servers. I was in constant contact with Patrick in regards to what I wanted for my party. He answered all my questions in a timely manner. On the day of the party Patrick and his team were early for their setup, and actually arrived before I did. During the party I asked my guests how they liked drinks and the service and all the responses where positive. Everyone thought Patrick and the servers were very professional, friendly, and efficient. I personally didn't have any problems either and they helped the party to run smoothly. I would recommend Ultimate Affairs Event Planners and I would definitely utilize their services for a future event.
I had such an amazing time planning my wedding reception with Comfort Odubote,she is the absolute best,She's such a sweetheart, she went all out to make me happy, reply to all my texts and calls weather is was 3:30AM in the morning, when i was stress and frustrated she was so clam and all i remember her telling me was don't worry i will take care of it, i honestly couldn't have done it without Comfort Odubote, She made my dream wedding come through and not forgetting the amazing photographer and video guy that Comfort got for my wedding they did an outstanding job, the photographer and video guy stood by my side and didn't give me a chance to complain they were all such nice people, I strongly recommend KC Events, LLC company in a heart beat, words haven't been invented yet to tell you how happy and pleased i am with the way Comfort Odubote planned my wedding, i love you guys continue to shine and make more brides as happy as i am!!!
Without Brittney our wedding would not have happened! Her help as our Day Of Coordinator ensured that every detail of the wedding was handled efficiently and perfectly. Knowing that Brittney was making sure that every vendor knew where to go and how to set our things up made it so much easier for us to focus on getting ready and enjoying our day. Once the wedding was under way she continued to keep everything and everyone running smoothly and made sure that every planned event went off without a hitch. Even though she wasn't acting as our wedding planner, she was always available to help answer any of our questions and offer her advice while we solidified our arrangements in the weeks leading up to the wedding. Her fun and positive attitude was so helpful in keeping us sane as well! I can't overstate enough how integral Brittney was to making our wedding as perfect as it was!
Where do i start Melyssa was great. I hired Alchemist Events to plan my wedding in SC 4/7/18. She came down early and was very organized. She gave my girl a schedule and meant business. 1st time ever my girls where ever on time. It rained for the wedding and Melyssa didn't care she told me its blessings from God lets do this lol. I forgot all about the rain and i really enjoyed myself. Everything was on-time and she was very professional. I would highly recommend her
The Bella Couture Team was outstanding. They took care of every little detail including things we would not have thought of . They absolutely were the reason our special day was so special. They were responsive to every need and concern and were constantly putting our minds at ease when the panic started to set in. Every time we had a concern they immediately addressed it and put our minds at ease. We could not have asked for a better planner for our wedding. They are truly amazing!
I could not have been more impressed by Sheetal. She is incredibly professional, talented and hardworking. I have never encountered anything like the amazing balloon creations that she made for my daughter's Halloween party and all of my guests were in awe. She has amazingly creative ideas and can bring any inspiration to life. While her balloon talent is unreal, she also assembled a beautiful fabric backdrop/focal wall and a printed sign - she does it all! She spent so much time planning the details with me and even created a portfolio proposal with an array of options for me to choose from. She staked out my venue and liaised directly with their team so that everything would be planned meticulously in advance and perfectly executed (no last minute surprises!). She even helped me to select party supplies so that everything would be coordinated. On top of being extremely talented and professional, Sheetal could not be more sweet. She was an absolute pleasure to work with and I am trying to think of another party to throw just so I can hire her again! I very highly recommend Sheetal for any event!!!
We can't say enough great things about Stephanie. She was a true life saver from day one. Stephanie was very accessible and responded with lightening speed to emails/calls/texts at all different hours. She was always professional and friendly and gave great advice. Stephanie definitely has an eye for style and worked great with all of our wedding vendors. My wedding planning experience became stress-free once Stephanie came on board. I recommend her to any bride-to-be or anyone planning an event. We look forward to working with her in the future!
Amy went above and beyond. She provided us with a timeline weeks prior to our wedding. She was very patient with all the changes throughout the wedding process. She was also able to coordinate with all the vendors before and during the wedding. I was so stressed throughout the day but she was able to calm my nerves and I felt at ease in her hands. She drove my mother and I in her car when transportation arrangements did not work out and even drove her car around the church to have my grandmother sit in the car while waiting to take pictures. We had a 200+ guest wedding and a large wedding party with over 30+ people and she handled it gracefully. She is such a gem, don't hesitate to book her!
It is without hesitation that I can recommend Debra Lamazon as an event planner and decorator. I have used her to plan three very different events for me. After the initial event, my 21st wedding anniversary, I knew that no other planner or decorated can come close to topping what she produced from absolutely nothing so therefore, she will get the opportunity to plan all of my future events. First I must let you know that Debra was recommended to me by my daughter to plan our 21st wedding anniversary. The hall we rented was not the best, it is a multi purpose hall and is used as a church, a soup kitchen, a senior center, and an after school program...you could just imagine what the place looked like. I met with Debra and told her my budget and what I dreamed of having. Well, I was totally amazed with the transformation of the hall. Words cannot describe how Debra transformed that hall. My guest were totally in awe of her work. With Debra's keen eye for decor and her unique sense of planning and coordinating, she can make any dream possible. I have used Debra service for my son's high school graduation celebration, as well as my older son's baby shower. I have recommended her service to anyone that have asked me and will continue to do so again, and again. With every event she brings a unique style and flavor, I really don't know where she gets this talent from. But she is definitely a natural and truly loves what she does. Her patience and calming manner is very reassuring in very stressed situations. Debra, thank you for all that you have done for me an my family to make our events the "talk of the town" it also made us feel like we were millionaires if only for one day. Thank you.
Brianne came on board as our day-of planner after our original venue went bankrupt and we had to move the wedding to 26 Bridge in Dumbo at the last minute. She was extraordinarily helpful in advising how to pull everything together and explaining what we would need throughout the day in terms of coordinating vendors. She met and talked with me several times before the day, and then was there on-site at the venue from the morning before the wedding started, all the way through until the end of the party at 1am, to make sure that everything went smoothly. Brianne showed up even earlier than the agreed-upon time and made sure throughout the day that every little thing was taken care of. I'm sure there were plenty of hiccups but I don't even know about them because she just took charge and ensured that everything was exactly the way we wanted it. She called all of the vendors ahead of time to make sure everything was on track, and then coordinated with them throughout the day whenever needed to make sure everything happened as planned. She has a very calming and warm presence that was so great to have on our wedding day -- she made sure both of us knew what was going on, but that we were calm and happy throughout the day. Plus, she did so many little things - like making sure we got champagne as soon as we said our "I do's" - that made us feel like a million bucks. I'm so glad we had her there!
I Used Michelle for my day of planning for my wedding and her service on the day of the wedding was worth every cent! She calmed my nerves, made sure all my bridal party was were they were supposed to be and organized everything to a tee! I couldn't have asked for a better right hand girl for my wedding day. Anyone who thinks they don't need a coordinator think again it saves your wedding day! I'd recommend Michelle to anyone! Thank you for making my day go smoothly!
From start to finish my experience with More Than a Favor was fantastic! I had personalised welcome boxes made for my wedding welcome party. They were really well received, our guests loved them. The great thing about More Than a Favor is that they work with you to come up with exactly what you want. There's no standard templates, it's all personalised and flexible to the look and feel you want to achieve. I even had children boxes created so they didn't feel left out. I would 100% recommend them and will most certainly be back for more!
Wonderful! My wedding was beautiful and everything I wanted. Vennissa is wonderful, I assure you, you won’t regret going with her. Such an fantastic eye for detail, listens and executes. She is the best; can’t wait until she does my birthday party next year! Two thumbs all the way up!!!
Rohanie was the best wedding planner ever. My husband and I were in two foreign countries while our wedding was to be planned in the NY. Rohanie had to deal with 6 hours time difference with myself and 8 with my husband. She was extremely patient, professional and responsive to our late or early messages, emails, requests and questions. I can't count the number of times that I would ask her for something and she would simply answer by ''it has already been taking care of'' or ''it's already on the to do list''. She will also come up with ideas and suggestions that made the most important day of my life absolutely perfect. During the wedding, she was everywhere at the same time, making sure my hair was still good, adding more lipsticks, lightening candles, talking to the DJ and the photographer, making sure all the guests had food and drinks. The best feeling by having Rohanie around is that she has the this calming and stress killing effect, I enjoyed every single second of the wedding thanks to her. Rohanie also planned a get together with both families, knowing that my family members were coming from abroad and that they were spread in different hotels. She managed to provide transportation and took care of logistics to make sure everybody will get together to spend some time and know each other before the wedding. This was also a little complicated as some members didn't even speak English. As final comment, Rohanie will simply find a solution to every single problem.
My wedding was amazing and I booked her again for a fashion show and it was the best events I could have asked for. Very professional and friendly.
My fiance and I used Distinctive Visions event Management to take care of our wedding invitations and the service was nothing short of wonderful. I wasn’t entirely sure where I wanted to go with the style for them (we have 6 different colors in the wedding), but Nya was patient and helped lead us in the right direction. I am very happy with the final product, and we didn’t have to do anything except mail them! She worked hard to stay under our budget and was still able to deliver the perfect invitations. I will definitely use Distinctive Visions again in the future for more than just invitations.
