Hank played during my wedding ceremony and reception. He was very nice, professional and provided some good, easy-going entertainment.Jul 21, 2018Verified
A true professional!!!! I am an event planner and about 5 months ago I found myself in a difficult position with a last minute cancellation by a scheduled entertainer for a wedding. That exact day the piano teacher came by to give piano lessons to our boys. While Hank was giving me feed back on the kids' progress, he sensed that I was stressed. As I explained my plight, this guy rose to the occasion. immediately! Two weddings and one 50th wedding anniversary later, Hank Machuga remains on my list of service providers. Great to work with, flexible, an all-around good person and someone who knows his craft. Thank you!!!!!! Joseph Coston Weddings & EventsMay 14, 2013

- What types of customers have you worked with?WEDDING CEREMONIES: (Remote locations included such as an outdoor gazebo, park or beach.) I can provide music for the entire ceremony. Background music as guests are seated. Processional (Bridal pary entrance), traditional sons during the ceremony, candlelighting etc. and of course the recessional too. COCKTAIL HOUR or REHEARSAL DINNER: I can provide light piano music for the atmosphere you desire. Familiar Broadway melodies, light Jazz etc. If desired, I can loosen it up with songs of Sinatra, Billy Joel, Elton John or even make it more festive with the sounds of Bruce Springsteen, Jimmy Buffett and more. HOLIDAY PARTIES: Everything mentioned above plus Holiday songs around the piano. .... priceless!
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?I would advise you to watch and listen to videos. Ask the entertainer if they are available to be heard in a public place or so. I play in public every Saturday night. :-) I would also suggest that a song/playlist be available to be looked at. Of course I've got a list of songs which, I know and would be glad to share it with anyone who is interested.
