Working with Jberk Construction was an absolute pleasure. We were in the middle of an entire second floor addition and we hired Josh for the new bathroom for a very reasonable price. Very punctual, honest, friendly, easy-going and transparent. He kept us well informed along the way with no surprises. Very pleased with his quality of work. Will look to hire him for the next downstairs bathroom remodel as well! Thanks Josh & Joe!Apr 3, 2020Verified

Working with Josh, J Berk Construction was an absolute great experience. I have worked with quite a few construction companies in the past (I'm an Architect) and I can't say the same for most of them. Josh provided great input and ideas in the process of remodeling my bathroom. I will hire Josh again to remodel my kitchen and more.....GREAT EXPERIENCE!Nov 8, 2019Verified

Work preformed was above and beyond. We did a basement renovation along with many small jobs. Every job was done in detail with excellent work. We also had a couple custom items made which came out fantastic. Would highly recommend to anyone for their home renovation. Josh also is very knowledgeable and knows to make sure everything is up to code. Following the job the clean up was also spotless.Jan 8, 2021Verified

Josh did a great job gut renovating our upstairs family bath. We wanted a simple, clean look which he achieved. Josh was very responsive and courteous throughout the job. We plan on bringing him back to do more projects in the house.Nov 19, 2020Verified
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I try to not go back and forth. I give an estimate that I know I can honor. Everything is written out and explained. This protects the customer and contractor.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I typically will meet with a new customer and discuss what they need done. I will listen attentively and make suggestions when I feel necessary. I will speak with them about my experience and I will encourage them to call or email past customers to confirm my quality and honesty.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have been working in the real estate field over the last 15 years. My experience spans owning multi families to flipping homes to doing general contracting work. I have seen a lot and learned a lot.
