What a joy Joanna was to work with! Her cake and treats were yummy! She matched desserts to the theme of our party and made the cake look just like a photo I sent her. Her prices are reasonable, and she’s easy to communicate with. She also delivers which is a huge plus for the day of a party! So great will definitely be using her again!

Cake design is amazing and it tastes incredible as well. Everyone liked it. Joanna is very professional and easy to talk about the details of the cake. Only issue we both had was the delivery because it was raining all day and it’s very hard to get an uber to deliver it, so the cake came in late. This issue is both out of our control, so there’s that. If you’re here reading reviews before placing an order with her, well, I’m telling you should place the order now. My brother and his husband are very happy.

To be honest I was skeptical on hiring anyone on Thumback because I was knew to this app and didn’t know anything about anyones work but like they say you don’t try you won’t know. Joanna made the BESTTT Fresh, Wonderful tasting Red Velvet Wedding Cake for my Stepsons wedding. I thought She was local in Montgomery l since that’s where the wedding was being held at. This cake traveled 1.5 hours and I was so nervous that it was gonna arrive messy cause of bumps in the road, it arrived in PERFECT CONDITION with NO PROBLEMS AT ALL! My Hear was so Happyyyyyyy! Joanna is amazing I never met her but I’m grateful I did. I wish this app would let me give her more than 10 stars but she deserves more than that. I highly recommend her to everyone! Thank you again Joanna for making the day extra perfect!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Each cake design may differ in price. This all depends on the artistry and design of cake. I start my buttercream cakes at $3.00 per serving and Fondant at $4.00per serving.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When a customer contacts me I need to know the basics first. How many people are you trying to serve? What design do you want? Any filling? Etc, be prepared to spend at least 5-10 minutes on the phone answering base questions to complete your order.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
Actually, I'm self taught. However I alway like to keep up with new techniques so I am able to create a piece of art for my clients
