I was looking for a painting service to repaint a 2B2B unit before moving in. I found Bair on Thumbtack. He was quick to respond, came to see the place, and provided a thorough quote over text (also offered to email it). Everything felt straight forward, no funny business. I asked for a quote that includes painting the ceiling and a quote that didn’t. Bair was very accommodating and a pleasure to work with. The building required paperwork. He provided what was needed. He gave me a breakdown of the paint quantity and sheen for the ceiling, wall, and baseboard. With this information, I had an easier time buying my own paint. Him and his team were punctual throughout all 3 days and gentle with my floors that just got refinished a few days prior. Highly recommend Bair and his team!

Highly recommend PaintLab for your painter needs! Bair and his team completed work on my nyc apartment, a toning the job in 1 day staying late to complete the project. The paint job was well executed, ensuring every corner and cranny were painted. They protected the floors, brought all supplies and cleaned up after themselves once the job was done. Price was fair, he was professional, excellent work and professionalism.

Bair painted my apartment and did some repairs on my front door. He did a great job! He is very reliable and trustworthy, which is very hard to find with contractors. He was punctual, gave me an honest estimate of what he thought needed to be done, even did a few extra things! Very diligent and takes pride in his work. Highly recommend and would definitely hire him again if I need any work done in the apartment.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We try to work at prices below the average market prices, but we cannot work completely for cheap, because it doesn't make sense to us as a company. We also have very good discounts in various paint stores.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We usually come for a free estimate. We give some advice. We do not have the task of necessarily persuading you to hire us, first of all we want to help people. Therefore, you can always count on a free consultation at the first visit. Then, if you agree, we can buy the materials ourselves, or make a shopping list for you. And we start work. After ourselves, we always clean up, clean everything and collect garbage.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a higher economic education, it helps to run a business. Plus ten years of experience in a construction company.
