Mayer delivered two-camera coverage with clear audio from an on-camera mic! (We weren't allowed to plug into the event's sound board.) - What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Not very complicated. I charge an on location fee for myself and my HD shooting gear and another fee for editing and post producing. These fees are negotiable and dependent on the nature of the assignment. There may be travel expense reimbursement required.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Yes. I am constantly scouring the web for new equipment reviews and techniques. I subscribe to Lynda.com for formal on line training updates in digital media.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?I was always fascinated by audio visual equipment in grade school. I thought road crew people were the coolest. I loved learning new media and equipment.
