Introduction: I have been in business for over 20 years performing proofreading and copyediting services across various industries, including legal, medical, tech, corporate, financial, and academic. I have worked with many authors, especially those who are self-publishing, to ensure that their manuscripts are well-polished and error free, containing no spelling or grammar errors. Additionally, I am experienced in proofreading, copyediting, and formatting dissertations. Five year ago, I was invited by Centenary University to edit students' dissertations. Since then I have edited dissertations on a wide variety of subject matter and for students from many institutions. It was really easy working with blue note writing. She helped me with my wedding vows. The final copy was beautiful and wowed everyone at my wedding . She made sure it was telling me and all my words and made the whole process easy for me. Also delivered the final copy earlier than expected. I will definitely be using blue note writing again.

Wendy at Blue Note Editing just completed working on my third novel and I could not be happier. She edits the manuscript and then provides a copy with the changes made and a separate copy with each edit shown. I find the two copies helpful. Sometimes, if she is unclear about what I mean for a passage or has suggestions, Wendy includes a question or suggestion in the margin. Wendy responds quickly to my questions. We agree on a schedule at the beginning of the work and Wendy makes the completion date 100%. I am very satisfied with the quality and value of Blue Note Editing.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I keep my prices very competitive, but my finished work product is always excellent, as I take pride in my work.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I generally work remotely and I am always available to speak to my clients by phone, email, or text whenever they have a question or concern (or if I have a question about document I am editing). I am happy to provide Non-Disclosure Agreements to protect their work and privacy, and I handle all jobs with the highest degree of diligence.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am an experienced dissertation proofreading and copyeditor, and for the past three years, I have performed proofreading and copyediting services for students at Centenary University. Therefore, I am familiar with several citation styles, including MLA, APA and Chicago/Turabian. I have also had coursework and training in copywriting, advertising, journalism, speechwriting, business writing, press release writing, and general communications.
