I was having a difficult time being on my computer while my one year old son was awake because he would always want to type like me. Well, Tech Spot PC Repair helped me get a program that locks my keyboard. That way, my son can "type" on the computer if I'm ever away from my device. Totally helped me big time

Q&A

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Getting to know what the problem is and when it started. Troubleshooting and resolving the problem with a variety of resources. Once resolved educated the customer and prevent future problems.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
HIPPA Certified Computer Networking & Security Graduate
Do you have a standard pricing system for your service? If so, please share the details here.
I am flexible with my pricing. I have standard going rates for certain services. I offer payment plans for customers if it's not easy to always pay right away.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I always loved computers and helping people so I put the two together and started my own business right out of school. It's a new business slowing growing. I am very passionate about it and love to learn more.
What types of customers have you worked with?
All types mainly end users who have personal computers at home. I will branch out into the corporate world in time but my client base as of now are end users.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
A man who has two small daughters couldn't get his tower to work. I spent a few hours troubleshooting and found out something was stuck and preventing it from being opened. Once I got it opened I found a large amount of coins his daughters put in the tower slots. The next few hours were spend getting all the coins out of the computer. I was able to do that and preserve all the parts inside it. Everything worked great afterwords. Sometimes it isn't always something you learned in a classroom that can prepare you for real life situations.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Always look for the best person or company to do the job right. Everyone is always looking for a deal these days which is why my company is a step ahead of the competition. I go above and beyond to insure the customers problems are fixed for a reasonable price plus I include payment plans.
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Is this beyond my knowledge? What is the best way I can fully describe the problem to help me get the best solution? Is it worth fixing or buying a new computer? If I need to get my data off the computer do I have a storage device handy? (If not Tech Spot PC Repair has you covered!) Once fixed how can I prevent the problem from reoccurring?
