Introduction: We photograph weddings, christenings, social and political and corporate functions. We also photograph headshots and portfolios in studio or on location for your convenience. We have photographed actors, models, musicians, politicians, couples and families. We have been known to photograph product lines for website advertisment as well. With over 20 years of experience, we constantly strive to make each event exciting with our outgoing style and personality. We combine studio expertise, balanced lighting knowledge, time management and 15 years of teaching to go give each client the finest final product that we can possibly create. Recommendations and referrals are what makes our studio work. Clients love two major aspects about our photography. First of all, the clients are comfortable with our photographers. The photographers relax the clients and are aware that their day is important and the aspect as their time, which is just as valuable. When there is a connection between the photographer and the subject, it is evident in the images. Secondly, when the client receives the images, every image is a part of the day of the event or the series of images of a portrait session. Each image shows emotion and one can get a feeling for the image. The photograph becomes a part of the person where the viewer of the image can have feelings about the image as opposed to a picture of the client where the viewer can see that the image is of the client, but there is no emotion about the image, just a recorded image of the client. Jim, the lead photographer of Images by Jim, attended the University of Dayton and the School of Visual Arts as a Fine Arts major. He shot his first wedding in 1985 and by 1994 was deriving his income as a portrait/event photographer. In 1997, he and a partner opened Studio 4 Photographics in the Meadowlands area of New Jersey The specialization of the studio was portraits, kids and adults for acting and modelling, as well as commercial product images for catalog and Internet advertising. In 2007, the partners disbanded and Jim moved out on his own to operate Images by Jim.
