- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Tara has a masters degree in Jazz Piano Performance from Rutgers University, New Brunswick, NJ. Most of our musicians have masters and even doctoral degrees in their performing instrument, and they all have many years of wedding performance experience. As to wedding planning, we regularly look at articles on WeddingWire, MyWedding, The Knot, GigMasters, and more... and stay in touch with social media and apps and mobile sites because that's what people are using to plan events. Experience is the best teacher when it comes to planning a wedding!
- How did you get started doing this type of work?Tara Buzash started Sweet Harmony in 2008 as a piano/violin duo with her friend and colleague Heather Teffenhart. The network gradually and naturally expanded as Heather and Tara met new musicians, traveled, and took work from new customers. Today Tara books a network of 100+ musicians from Connecticut through Delaware!
