Chef Alana is a born and raised New Yorker who has worked for the biggest catering companies in NYC before opening her own company in 2015. 2020 toke a toll on the hospitality industry so she started over and moved shop to Austin Texas. Chef Alana was absolutely wonderful! She catered my wedding and the food was a HIT! Everyone was commenting on how good it was 👌🏽. In my opinion, Alana went above and beyond for us. She sent samples of her food out to our house and, of course, it was delicious. She was flexible with dropping off the food with our wedding schedule (our venue was an hour outside of Austin) and then even hung around so she could meet us. She is a gem and I highly recommend booking her. Thank you for being so awesome and filling our guests bellies on our special day!

Chef Alana and her crew were amazing! Everyone enjoyed the food she provided for my birthday party of about 50 people. I started out with a 15-20 min call describing my party, the type of food, and what Chef Alana could provide. She asked me about my favorite foods and catered the menu around it. From there, she arrived at the venue on time and spent the night partying with us after the food was served. Will definitely be calling chef Alana again for any of my catering needs in the future!

Hired Alana and team for a 30th birthday brunch for my daughter. We came into Austin from out of town so I needed someone to take the ball and run with it. I had no idea what the Airbnb would have in it kitchen wise, but Alana adjusted accordingly. She came up with an amazing menu and delivered on the food. It was delicious. Her team were friendly, professional, and easy to work with. They even had a lot of stairs to deal with!! I am giving MWC four stars because they were almost 2 hours late in arriving and I had to reach out to see what the issue was (while experiencing a bit of a panic attack that they weren’t coming). Granted it was the Saturday of the eclipse weekend and traffic was crazy, but I would have thought better communication when they knew they were late would have eased me sooner. Also, Alana did not tell me she had to leave to go to another event before our ending time until she was leaving. Her team did an amazing job of finishing and cleaning everything up. All in all, food was fabulous and my daughter was happy!

We had the best experience with the team at Most Wanted Chef. They were super communicative from start to finish of our project. They also understood our budget and gave us options that fit within our scope, and their team worked hard to create an amazing spread. The event was high stress with a lot of moving pieces and they handled it with grace and a smile. They were also able to offer us other services we were missing, like bartenders who were great at making elevated cocktails. I would definitely use their team again and recommend them to anyone in the area looking for food and beverage needs.

Alana absolutely saved my event. She is so passionate about her food and just amazing as a person. The food got so many compliments! "A flavor explosion," "a burst of flavor in every bite," and "expertly planned complimentary flavors," were among some of the more notable compliments my guests had about the food. Just wonderful!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Each customer is different so there isn't a standard pricing system. I do offer a 10% discount to all first time customers.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Every customer has different preferences. Once we establish a custom menu and serving options we can then give an exact price. If the client has a budget we can work together to keep it within range.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Born into a family of restauranteurs Chef and owner Alana Puentes started training in Italian and Cuban cuisine at a very young age. After working under many amazing chefs specializing in Asian cuisine she used her worldly cuisine to start her own high end catering company.
