We had the fortune of having Zack as our inspector. He was very thorough, which was exactly what we were looking for in an inspector. I can not say enough great things about him as he was amazing!! He was extremely efficient and attentive. He spent a lot of time doing an amazing job and even making suggestions and recommendations for repairs. He even gave us rough estimate how much repairs would cost. The experience was fantastic because we now understand the property we are purchasing . Zack even did our termite inspection as well. He was not one of the inspectors recommended by my realtor but I am so glad I did my own research and went with him. We waited to after closing and after we moved in to leave our review just to make sure no new surprises arose.
Why do you hire a home inspector? To save you from financial ruin and an unbelievable amount of unforeseen work/stress. Ken is the only reason we are finally closing on our dream home Tuesday morning on a home we are so proud and excited to buy... And we avoided spending, or I should say wasting, $150,000 on a subpar gut rehab done by a "Quick flipper" Who calls himself a "contractor" Don't risk complicating your life and ruining it by getting duped. Hire Ken to mitigate all risk in your transaction. I should mention upfront that both times I needed him to inspect a home for me he managed to do it with little notice and he drove at least an hour and a half or two hours each way to make it to me. He's exactly what you want in a home inspector. Caring, modern, experienced. The next time you wonder whether spending the extra money on a home inspector is actually worth it, remember the review that told you that this man save me at least 150K. He helped us see things like how the seller had demonstrated corner cutting that was unexplainable and so obviously unacceptable. The siding was even touching the dirt on the ground, causing moisture to wick up through the plywood walls. All the wood throughout the entire ranch home was warped. While the seller blamed his subcontractor, Ken knew the real reason: moisture. Ken has what a good home inspector needs â of course you need someone with integrity and expertise. However what he others on top is an unshakable drive to get up every day and make a difference in people's lives in a real way you can feel. After working with Ken you and your significant other can make a better decision to either run for the hills or run to your mortgage broker or bank to make a happy decision after inspecting the house. Instead of a nightmare, we are moving into a house that is $100K less and actually turnkey. So turnkey in fact, that it has endless hot water with a tankless high efficient furnace and water heater in one, that has a 12"x18 wall mounted furnace beauty like I've never seen before. We don't even have to touch the toilets to flush. Patience + home inspector = dreams coming true. These are my two prerequisite and rule for the equation for anyone buying a home who wants a relatively stress-free transaction - as little as it could be anyway. He is somebody who I have hired multiple times and have recommended to every real estate agent in my area.
I am extremely pleased with Mike's professionalism, reports and thoroughness. He took his time to go over every inch of the home and explain where he thought there could be potential issues or upgrades, and was communicative before, during and after the inspection. We would be happy to recommend him and Record Home Inspectors.
I was very happy with my choice of Do-Rite Property Inspections to complete my home/termite inspections. Bob was very professional and did a thorough job.
I have bought multiple homes and hired different home inspectors to get the job done. KJ by far is the best one I came across and I will surely be using his services going forward. His price is very reasonable as well and send you the report in timely fashion.
very professional and knowledgeable home inspector. Would definitely recommend.
Despite the unpleasant circumstance of having to deal with a mold situation recently, it was an absolute pleasure to have Mary Perricone in my home for a mold inspection. She is licensed, skilled, thorough and absolutely focused in her sample gathering. All that and more was reflected in the report that followed after her visit. I was surprised to read how detailed her observations were and how specific her recommendations. Given all that, I still would have to say her strongest asset is her strong power of observation. I never suspected she had such a keen eye for detail. She certainly searched in the most unlikely places for her air and mold samples, but they proved quite effective when I later read her report. Another great asset she demonstrated was her ability to listen to my concerns and address them. Mold is not a happy occurrence and she understood that. Mary Perricone, the go-to person for mold inspection, a real professional. I highly recommend her.
My wife and I purchasing a home for the first time. Glenn Helder being our home inspector made us feel confident with our purchasing of this home with his professional and very thorough inspection of the house . He pointing out all of many important concerns that had to be rectified with the house and giving a full detail report. He also help with a referral to an engineer who was also very helpful. We will be hiring Glenn for the finale walk through of the house. Thank you Glenn
Quite possibly the most professional and effective home inspectors I have ever used. ( and I have used many). They were fast , reliable and most important extremely detailed in the approach. They truly work for the buyer and I would highly recommend to any one in need of an inspection.
I have used many home inspectors in the past, but Lance from Eagle Eye is a notable step up from the rest. Being in construction myself, I was very impressed with his knowledge in building construction, heating, electrical and plumbing systems. There were no short cuts with Lance, very meticulous to details and left no stone unturned. His professional, courteous and friendly attitude was a pleasure to deal with. I will definitely be using Eagle Eye again on my next purchase.
My cousin recommended Mark when we were purchasing our first home. He ended up completed a home inspection for two houses for us. He was very insightful and thorough with both inspections. He found three things within our now home that would have been a burden on us but because he pointed them out the previous owner agreed to fix them. I would definitely recommend him.
Jim did a home inspection for us that convinced us not to buy the house we were looking at. The seller's real estate agent pressured him to change his report but he stood his ground and we were impressed by his integrity. When we needed a rush inspection on another house Jim couldn't be there but he referred another inspector who did a good job as well, and we went on to purchase the house. We were happy with the service and the referral. I recommend him.
I have never found an inspector as detailed oriented as Brian Sweig. His knowledge was crucial during the purchase of my home. Brian's expertise saved me thousands of dollars on what could have been a money pit. I would recommend Brian to anyone looking to purchase a new home, preparing to sell their home or trying to figure out underlying issues in their current home.
We can't say enough nice things about our home inspection experience with Solid City Home Inspection. Our inspector was very friendly, he took the time to explain what he was inspecting in terms we could understand, and we felt very confident in his knowledge of the various systems of our home. We will definitely recommend Solid City Home Inspection to friends and family in the future.
Needed a last minute home inspection. A friend recommended Square One Professional Home Inspectors, I called them right up and he was able to coordinate an appointment to my schedule. The inspection lasted over an hour and they sent me the report the next day. Exactly what i needed. Very professional.
I found Ken on line among hundreds of home inspectors in NY. What called my attencion in his site ( Mercury) was the fact that he was the only one that had a sample of his reports. He's great! We set a visit in the property, and he warned me that he would need about 3 hours to do the job. After 1 hour the broker ( rude as hell) decided to close the property and Ken could not finish his work. Ken had no problem to come back 2 days later without any extra charges and finishes his job. His report is fantastic and as the house was winterized Ken gave a discount as he could not check the plumbing and eletric systems. Ken is honest, reliable and professional. Gil Malamut
