Introduction: Hello :)
I've taught CPR to individuals in various fields for the past 5 years. I teach CPR on behalf of the American Heart Association (AHA) which issues the most widely trusted and accepted CPR Certification. I've also used CPR while working as an emergency medical technician (EMT) to save multiples lives. In addition, I am also an anatomy & physiology professor, and this allows me to teach CPR in a fun, educated, and easily understandable way. I promise you that by the end of the class, you will know how to save a life using CPR.
WHY become certified?
When there is an emergency, whether at work or at home, you want to be equipped with the proper knowledge on how to save a life. Having this knowledge provides you a level of comfort and preparedness in any emergency setting. It is recognized that the first few minutes in a CPR emergency are the most important for saving a life. Be prepared, rather than simply waiting for help to arrive.
WHO should become certified?
Everyone! Whether you work in a medical setting or a stay-at-home mom, you should have the basic knowledge of the proper steps you should take in saving an individual's life. This individual can be your child, your parent, your best friend, and/or a random stranger.
WHAT will you learn in my CPR class?
You will learn how to give proper life-saving CPR to victims of ALL ages (infants to elderly). You will learn how to properly use an automated external defibrillator (AED). You will learn how to save a choking victim of ALL ages.
