My 6yr old just had his first lesson with Lenny and is very excited for the next one. Lenny was very patient and relatable. We were very pleased!
In short, Neha is AMAZING! Not only does my 4 year old son take piano lessons with her but even my wife has signed on for vocal training. Her knowledge level and professionalism are exceptional and she strikes a perfect balance between challenging her students but also keeping it fun and engaging. I would absolutely recommend her services to anyone seeking to learn, develop or enhance their musical knowledge and training.
VMS has a friendly atmosphere, and great teachers. My son is 12. He is taking piano lessons and band lessons. He plays classical and modern pieces. He is in two rock bands where he plays the keyboard and he sings. The music school's program keeps him motivated to thrive better.
Robin has provided my 7-year old daughter with ukulele lessons. We could not have asked for a more patient, enthusiastic teacher. Robin is flexible and dependable. She has provided an all-around great experience.
I worked with Paul on a Christmas show is 2013. I was his guitar tech, and helped to make sure his equipment was set up properly. He was the lone lead guitar player, and played alongside 12 vocalists. The show was really nice, and Paul was a pleasure to work with. He practiced very well, as evident by how prepared he was, and he played great overall. I even learned a thing or two as a long-time guitar player myself just from being his tech.
Kaz was a great guitar teacher for my son. He was patient yet thorough and very encouraging. I would highly recommend him for anyone considering guitar lessons.
Great jazz guitar teacher! Down to earth, willing to craft lessons around your interests and brilliant beyond his years. I'm learning jazz theory and improvisation method and my friend is doing more introductory lessons with Noah, so he can really cover a wide range. Definitely recommend for anyone in NYC looking to advance their guitar skill.
I had the pleasure of meeting Michael Calvert and taking one lesson. Ive been playing guitar for several years and know my way around the instrument pretty well. Just for the hour lesson that we had, I left with an understanding of music and of the instrument I didnt have before. He is very patient, funny, and talented. If I could afford the lessons I wou
All of my children have taken music lessons here- they’ve learned new instruments and continue to play.
Chris Brown is an amazing guitar instructor. My son has been taking guitar lessons from him for the past couple of years and he loves it! Center Stage is a great place to learn or better yourself as a musician!
Great teacher!! Really supports and encourages you when you're struggling the most and adjusts lessons to fit your skill level!
I have had many guitar teachers but Adam by far is the best for many reasons. I have learned so much as he teaching style is absolute perfect for the beginner to the professional. Very patient not overbearly critical and works diligently so that you learn quickly and confidently. Highly recommend.
Matt was quick with responding to messages and when the first lesson was awesome. Helped with exactly what I asked for.

In my ukulele, guitar, and drum jam classes, curious beginners can pick up a new instrument in a fun, creative environment with an experienced teacher. Private and group lessons are offered for beginner, intermediate, and advanced musicians. Hybrid lessons are also available, meaning students can choose to combine instruments in a private class (ex: guitar and voice). The students will learn the following: * Basic musical concepts (pitch, rhythm, timing, scales, chords, harmony) * Fun songs and riffs * New styles of world music * Simple strumming patterns * Common rhythms from around the world * Easy fingerpicking techniques * Basic music theory * How to accompany other musicians Students can try making their own songs and much more! I hope to see you jammin' to some new tunes soon! The Teacher: Andrew Salamanca has experience with a variety of world music styles, and he hopes to share this knowledge with his students. He also has 15 years of musical experience and 7 years of teaching experience. He has learned to play 10 instruments, including 2 traditional Chinese instruments. He has performed with a number of international musicians in both the United States and Taiwan.
With our dedication to our students, our goal is to help them achieve their dreams and rock out while they are doing it!

I'm offering affordable and casual lessons in guitar (rock, blues, country, etc), bass or ukulele in the NYC area. I come to you or we can meet in public location i.e. a park or something. I have over ten years of experience and can teach you what you want to learn. Contact me to set up a meeting and first lesson.
I try to tailor my lessons to meet the needs of individual students, while others stick to a basic formula for all of their pupils.
