VMS has a friendly atmosphere, and great teachers. My son is 12. He is taking piano lessons and band lessons. He plays classical and modern pieces. He is in two rock bands where he plays the keyboard and he sings. The music school's program keeps him motivated to thrive better.

Highly recommendable! I was looking for a short "crash course" in ukulele basics before taking my uke with me on my travels and was not disappointed in Gracie. She taught me a range of skills using different songs and had effective methods for improving my playing and helping me learn quickly and easily. She is also a lovely person and made sure our lessons weren't just effective but also fun! Thanks again, Gracie!

I worked with Paul on a Christmas show is 2013. I was his guitar tech, and helped to make sure his equipment was set up properly. He was the lone lead guitar player, and played alongside 12 vocalists. The show was really nice, and Paul was a pleasure to work with. He practiced very well, as evident by how prepared he was, and he played great overall. I even learned a thing or two as a long-time guitar player myself just from being his tech.

Steve has been teaching me classical guitar for almost three years now. Our focus has been on the subtleties of technique, understanding theory and "patiently" pushing the boundaries of my skill. My abilities are limited but when I compare the level at which I began learning this instrument to the level I have achieved currently I'm amazed. It was very difficult to find someone in my area to teach classical guitar and although I can't compare him with anyone else - I know I have improved tremendously through his understanding and capacity to teach. Steve's guidance and enthusiasm have kept my frustration at bay and kept me engaged and given me the opportunity to improve.
