I chose to contact Down To Earth Health & Wellness in order to better gain an understanding of what I should and shouldn't be eating. I also wanted to lose a little bit of weight (who doesn't) and just become healthier. I had slightly high cholesterol and high blood pressure, and my doctor informed me that I was pre-diabetic. After just one session with Brianne I regained my hope that it actually WAS possible to get myself back into top shape - without the use of many medications with horrible side effects. She was extremely kind, and explained everything to me very simply and easy to understand. She worked with me privately, and really took the time to go deep into my medical history, as well as really pay attention to everything I did throughout my normal day. She gave me a wealth of knowledge about what I was eating, and what it was doing to my body. I couldn't believe that I didn't know all of the bad habits that I had, I really thought I was eating semi-healthy. After a few sessions of teaching me about how my body and food work together, she came to my house and we went through my pantry together. She taught me things about the foods in it, and how to read food labels. We went to a local health food store close to my house, and she showed me what brands were the best, and a bunch of new foods to start incorporating in my life. She also gave me an exercise plan, that was designed just for me! She was always extremely kind, and easily accessible if I ever had any questions or concerns. Now, 6 months later, I have dropped over 6 inches from my waist, and I no longer have high blood pressure, or high cholesterol. At my regular check up, my doctor informed me I am no longer pre-diabetic! I feel AMAZING, more energized, and the aches and pains I used to feel are no more! I have found my way to a healthy life, which I look forward to enjoying for a very long time, and I owe that to Brianne and the other health coaches at Down To Earth. Best decision I have made in my life!
