FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
There are a lot of variables in this kind of work so it's impossible to give an accurate estimate without asking some questions first.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I listen to what the client wants and ask them questions to make sure that we are on the same page and I have all the information I need. It's not unusual for the client to not really understand what goes into the work they need done. When this happens I do my best to educate them so they understand what to expect of the process and price. After we have agreed on everything I make arrangements for any assistants, gear and supplies that'll be needed and reserve the time in my schedule.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I studied photography at RIT many years ago and since then I've attended several courses and seminars on everything involved with photography, retouching and restoration. Most recently I took the FAA test and became certified as a Part 107 Remote Pilot. Now I can legally operate drones for commercial purposes such as aerial inspections. aerial modeling and aerial video of architecture, landscapes, events, etc.
