After hot tea spilled onto the keyboard of my 2011 Macbook Pro, several of the keys stopped working. A trip to Apple proved slightly helpful but mostly humorous in that they ran a set of diagnostics on the computer that revealed it was in good working condition except for a much needed working keyboard for which they wanted $1,240 (that was the humorous part). Richard Singh of Same Day Fix provided one of the first quotes I received on Thumbtack. His fees were competitive: $79 labor and $50 for parts. He was extremely thorough, open and responsive, and incredibly helpful. Richard picked up the computer on a Tuesday evening and returned it to me the following afternoon. He remained in contact with me via email and text, keeping me abreast of his progress. I was very pleased with the outcome and even have scheduled additional work with Richard as a result of this experience.

Amazing Service!! Free Pick up and drop off was the eye catcher.Then the flexibility with my schedule was very admirable. I also had an issue with my desktop, he optimized it no extra cost since he claimed it was very minor issues, and charging would be dishonest. Will definitely hire again in the near future.
