I met Shannan from Hermosa Grace five days before my wedding. Finding a day of wedding coordinator had been so difficult. And I am a Ops and logistics person, so I am not used to managing tasks. But I really wanted to simply enjoy every minute of my wedding day without needed to manage a thing. One call with Shannan resulted in a snowball of wonderful collaboration. SHE LITERALLY MADE MY DAY PERFECT! She worked as the wedding florist and coordinator! Everything that mattered to me, mattered to her and she worked hard. She is professional with a high level emotional intelligence. She is affordable and highly skilled. The venue looked better than I imagined. The flow of service was perfect. She managed the other vendors well. All around a great time. Hands down the best vendor I have ever hired. We gave her a generous tip because her services were just the best. Then we called her the next day and gave another tip because she simply deserved it. She was incredible. This means a lot to me because the entire wedding planning process included me having to pull people along to get their best, paying a ton for mediocre service and keeping expectations low to avoid disappointment. I didn’t have to do that with her. So, my suggestion to you is to hire her now. You won’t regret it! Look at the bouquet she made me for my wedding in the attached pic! TL;DR: If you are looking for an afforable, talented team that can handle everything and anything you throw at them, that can make your event day seamless and stress-free, and that has the ability to transform any space into YOUR vision, then book Hermosa Grace to coordinate/cater your event now! I can't say enough wonderful things about Shannan and her team at Hermosa Grace Catering and Events! They are such kind and wonderful people that truly care about making their clients happy, above all else. Unlike many other event planners, Hermosa Grace does not jack up their price simply because you are having a wedding- they are extremely affordable and worth their weight in gold! While their price point was definitely the first thing that attracted me, the fact that they offer event planning, day-of coordination, catering, flowers, and a constant, open line of communication was definitely what won me over. On the day of the wedding, all we had to worry about was showing up at the venue on time- Hermosa Grace covered everything else! By the time we arrived, the venue looked even more beautiful and magical than I had envisioned. But what I appreciated the most about Hermosa Grace was that they never let us feel like there was an issue they couldn't resolve. For example, when we arrived to the venue, I realized I had forgotten my Maid of Honor's bouquet and Shannan whip another one up in less than 5 minutes. Another issue they handled seamlessly was when we realized we left our marriage license at the house minutes before the ceremony started. All I know is, we told Shannan about the marriage license 15 minutes before the ceremony, and when the ceremony ended 20 minutes later, Mike was right around the corner with the license! At the end of the night, they cleaned and packed everything up, and didn't leave until everything was sorted. I mean, this is the kind of top level service everyone that is throwing an event wants! I am very grateful we hired Shannan and her soldiers to help coordinate our wedding. Absolutely everything was perfect. We had a disaster with the chairs because our venue coordinator (not Shannan) was a mess - Shannan and Hermosa Grace fixed it. We needed charcuterie - Shannan took care of it and made a DELICIOUS spread that I didn't get to eat because my family and friends were savages, but they said it was good! We had very strange requests like bringing our GIANT pinata to the venue and helping make centerpieces and helping guide bouquet making and she came through for it all. I knew I liked Shannan when I first spoke to her - I think you just know. I think that's really important too to get along with the coordinator. - What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?My quoted price is all inclusive of the event requested. I always offer a free consultation to go over all of the details for you event to insure that you get everything you ask for. With proof of current or prior military experience I offer a 20% discount. Hermosa Grace has a partnership with Wyndham Resorts to provide a free two day hotel stay for any event over $1k. Once the amount has been agreed to we will both sign a contract. Once the contract and the deposit has been paid your day will be secured. The balance is due before the event.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?To start the process I always request a free consultation. That can be in person, on the phone or video chat. I will come to you for all in person meetings. Once we have gone over the details I will create a contract between us that covers all details that will be done for the event. It will also include the payment schedule.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have taken multiple classes and continuing education to ensure that I stay up to date with the latest trends. I have a commitment to taking a continuing ed class at least once per month.
