FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Please see all pricing under the services provided section.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Personal music instruction has many facets. While having the necessary skill set to effectively convey one's musical knowledge is certainly a necessity, I have found the use of certain behavioral-based techniques share an equal amount of importance in this process. In combining technical expertise with the ability to listen, understand and empathize with the learner, a more well-rounded learning process develops keeping the student engaged, focused and interested. I truly enjoy seeing the joy that inevitably results when our students learn to play at a level they didn't think possible.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have been a musician for most of my life, specializing in guitar and voice, although my skill set now extends to bass, drums and audio production. I grew up in a musical household, continually surrounded by parents and siblings that were heavily involved in the world of music. You can say that (most-fortunately) didn't have a choice! Musicianship was my destiny. I am continually inspired by the world of music, its many facets and truly enjoy passing my gift on to others!
